Colin,

I taught HS in Brooklyn, NY. I taught in a topped ranked school, FOR HS, as well as one of the 10 Worst, South Shore. HO-LEE SH*T! FDR, a multi ethnic, local HS, was run by a former nun. Talk about a tight ship. She did NOT play:

-“No hats/durags meant NO hats/durags. She would walk up to the kids, take the offending item of their head and tell them that their parents had to come up to collect the item. She had a roomful of hats….

-Kids were not allowed to run the halls. They were suspended, ASAP, if they wrote on walls or desks: Destruction of school property.

-There WAS an ACTIVE dress code: No short shorts/skirts, no belly shirts, shoulders covered. Period. The idea being that revealing clothing was NOT conducive to learning – too distracting.

-The school performed well when compared to other local/zoned HS.
and then there was South Shore…a f*cking hell hole!

-Every one of the 4k kids were black but it was only the American Blacks that caused the chaos. African and Caribbean blacks came to school to learn because that was the only way to get ahead in their nation’s of birth. A small but dangerous crowd of American born blacks behaved like_______ (I don’t know the word, sorry) and they terrorized and destroyed ALL they came in contact with.

-They set the bulletin boards on fire but hid the fire extinguishers first.

-They played Donkey Kong with the fire extinguishers, instead of barrels, in the stairwells.

-They threw open water bottles at each other, in the hallways, on really hot days.

-When security collected the now verboten bottles, the kids brought in zip lock baggies and threw them at each other. They turned the hallways into sheets of ice.

-There were no cushions or drapes in the auditorium because the kids set them on fire and the piano was kept in a huge, padlocked cage.

-The kids made a bonfire…in the library…with the library books.

-The teacher’s cars kept getting broken into, and the teachers mugged, so teachers had to park on the playground…under the watchful eye of hired security.

-The administration did not implement safety/security measures.

Personally, I believe it was by design…There was an obvious double standard: the dearth of liberal teachers. They quit teaching!

Kids could play cards and dance in major subject classes.

They helped create the excuse of victimization and then left with their $120k pensions and lucrative 401 portfolios and left us the mess.

Hi Colin,

I tried teaching American black children for three years. Imagine being a Japanese used to Japanese schools and the only American school you have been to is a university, teaching in a ghetto school.

Three years I tried to make it work. The last straw was when a “fellow” teacher tried to rape me and I believe he did it because he and the other males harassed me the entire time, and then it was found out my boyfriend was white. Black males think they are entitled to all girls. Even the teachers!

They learn nothing. They destroy everything.

Really though while I am still traumatized, as much due to students as the teacher who assaulted me, I chose to be there.

I feel most bad for the Americans paying taxes. At least 75% of the money spent on teaching black students is a complete waste.

Japanese and white are different but the black are a completely different type of person. Just can’t help being savages and vicious. And can’t learn.

Colin,

I get a lot of criticism for my obsession with these social and political viewings of you and Tommy Sotomayor and Alex Jones, etc., but I can’t keep my head in the sand, and I’ve been following the course of the whole geo political spectrum since around Christmas 2015, I was up all night Christmas Eve that year, in fact, watching the whole ISIS thing unfold.

Anyway, another website I visit is the Horowitz Freedom Center.org site, with that Jewish professor, David Horowitz, I forgot the exact URL, I always start through a Google search, including you. As I’m rapidly approaching my 50thbirthday, I’m finding that I’m becoming, thinking, like my father socially and politically, and that my anger towards him, as there was some bad blood between us as I may have told you, has been waning, and I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or not, in relation to my psychotherapy. And I don’t know if this will sit well with my sister, who was gung ho over Hillary Clinton, and I’ve been on her sh*t list since then for voting for Trump.

So, one thing about my father, out of many things, was that he got very angry if anyone tries to make him feel bad or guilty. Now, 2 things:

1. I’m finding that I’m racially profiling when I’m out on the street, but I only do that for safety reasons, and especially if my gf is with me. I know you won’t criticize me over this, you may even say that’s smart, both you and Tommy Sotomayor; guess it’s better to be safe and profiling than to be politically correct and in the hospital or worse after being attacked.

2. More importantly, I get very angry internally when I hear the words white privilege; does that make me a racist?, and when I do, I think to myself that I cashed in my white privilege a long time ago in that elevator with that black bully. Now, the only time I think I had white privilege was when I was changing a fuse in my father’s car in NY, NY, and a cop car passed by and only looked at me once, and didn’t even slow down or stop. Is that what they mean by white privilege? This was 20 years ago, and my white friend Phil, when telling him what happened, laughed and said Of course they didn’t bother you, you’re white! I also think this: White privilege? You mean like me, it was a privilege to go to school, buy groceries for my mother, play outside with my friends without feeling extreme anxiety that I’d run into that bully again, when it should be a f*cking right?

And did you hear that story about the black middle school teacher who made the white students stand up at the front of the class and admit and apologize for their white privilege to the non-white students? What kind of sh*t is that? She should be suspended if not fired. This reminds me of what my mother said when she was a schoolgirl in Cuba in the 30’s, the teacher would ask the class Who killed Jesus Christ, knowing full well that my mother was at least one Jew in the class, and of course someone came up with the expected answer: the Jews.

Wow, I’m looking at all this, and you’d think this thing, my story about me, would be recent stuff, in light of all the things you talk about on the web, and I see it for myself and have been seeing it since the 70’s! also, I graduated hs in ’85, 4 years before gangsta rap, with all it’s racial, misogynous, violent lyrics, what with F this, and S that, and B and H and N everything. Well, in the early 80s in hs, me and the other white kids were wondering why the black kids always called each other the N word, then came gangsta rap. Whatever happened to classic, good fun rap like Run DMC, Young MC, Will Smith and The Fat Boys? I tell you, I loved those videos with Will Smith and also the fat boys singing with the late Chubby Checker. And yes, I saw a lot of fooling around, not paying attention, fights, defiance to teacher authority, etc., even back then. I did my best to dodge all that sh*t.

Oh, and in the 60s? my big brother and sister saw the same exact thing, and they were harassed by the angry black kids too. Now, I guess my sister, an early childhood teacher, is teaching their grand or great grand kids. And in the 80’s, my father worked in East NY, and saw plenty of all this, including 30-something yr old grandmas!

Well, that’s about it, just wondering if my anger about the whole white privilege talk makes me racist, I dunno.

By the way, I bought both of your books, the don’t make the black kids angry (the title says it all) and white girl bleed a lot, but I’m in the middle of my IT job training with plenty to read and learn, so it may be some time before I can get to it, and when I do, I’ll have to read it discreetly if I take it outside my home to the library or something, I can just see being called racist for owning that book.

Oh, one more thing: it made me sad when I read as a schoolboy about some little black girl somewhere in the US that was being picked on racially, and she’d come home and scrub her face vigorously to try to reduce her “blackness”. I had a similar feeling, I came home with white guilt after learning about the whole slavery thing in this country, and I’d look in the mirror and wished I weren’t so white (was even asked by some black kid in gym class why I was so white, I look like milk, and another who didn’t know my name got my attention via “hey white person…”), that if I were black or a dark complexioned Latino, they wouldn’t bother me.

I even tried to fit in, to ingratiate myself to them by passing myself off as Cuban, like my mother, whose parents were actually Polish, but I came from a Spanish speaking home, and you guessed it, they weren’t buying it, I was a “white boy”; really amazed my teachers in Spanish class that I was outperforming the Latino kids in the class! Hey, again, I came from a Spanish speaking home! My mother disagreed, but I wanted to fit in at home, too, so I always considered myself Cuban, and just a first generation American. And yes, I got my Puerto Rican friend a Puerto Rican flag flash drive, and I’m in the market to get one with the Cuban flag (with 16GB and USB 3.0, after all, what’s a network administrator without a flash drive on a lanyard around his neck? J )

I think someone said it on the web, that most white people don’t worship their skin color, but what will happen when whites are an extreme minority, will they have, I won’t say white, but ethnic pride, then? Yeah, I’m listening to Kenn Daily on the web, too.

Oh, and I overheard some old black men saying “Look at that, those kids playing, white, black and Asian, all playing nicely, kids do that, it’s us f*cking adults that act all stupid with each other”. That was very refreshing to hear, but I didn’t say anything.

I want to say that you are the only person doing this anywhere and it is really important work.

Anyone straight out of college (not me, I’ve been around the block), NO ONE should teach in an inner city (aka black) school. The kids will harass you, call you a faggot, cracker, b*tch, dyke on and on it goes.

I was threatened last month, “I will knock the sh*t out of you” from a kid who I witnessed straddling a girlfriend on the floor outside of my classroom beating the sh*t out of her, punching her in the face. and had to go downtown to press charges during “prep time.”

It is a very sad job. There are some kids who really want to learn but the majority of pant sagging *ssholes ruin everything for everyone. We are trying (yes there are sh*tty teachers too) but at the same time are blamed for everything going wrong. The Charters suck as much as the public schools, I know teachers who left the public for the charters and they say it is the same.

I was cursed out randomly by a student today who called me a faggot etc, you don’t get no p*ssy, I guess trying to impress his friends, and I’m trying to remind myself that this is not normal or maybe it is in this place, just keep getting used to it.

I cannot imagine talking to an adult or anyone like that. And then we are blamed, we “let this stuff happen” when there are no resources to address this. Many of the kids like this have “IEP’s” that make it illegal to suspend them after the first ten suspensions which are usually done by the second or third month of school so you just have to deal with them for the rest of the year and they have no consequences for hostile sociopathic behavior.

Then the principal or assistant principal comes in with a laptop and observes your class and blames you for not addressing these issues.

It is a MESS. I really want to teach and help these kids, built this is what we get. And there are the teachers who are “down with the cause” who invited this guy last year to speak at graduation: UMAR JOHNSON. Please put him on your radar for b*llsh*t:

Where did he go to school? Where is his degrees from? It is all a mystery but my school thought he was down with the cause. The district did no agree.

Colin, I’m a teacher and about a month ago I wrote to you with a message of support. Now that the school year has come to an end, I would like to provide you a little glimpse of what my experience working within an inner city school was like.

Dear Colin and fellow citizens,

Just a week ago, I completed my first year as a teacher within an inner city high school. It wasn’t my choice to wind up in this school, it was only that my university so kindly assigned me to this utopia of urban education.

Mr. Flaherty, you know fully well about what the latest fads are within the realm of pedagogical theory, and the administrative staff at my institution were devout believers in all of these panaceas.

Restorative Justice, Positive Behavioral Instructional Supports, Institutionalized Racism, Ending the School to Prison Pipeline; all of these concepts and teaching methods were preached by the administrative staff as if they were manna from heaven that would miraculously cure all ails of the world.

Unfortunately, the evidence did not bear this out.

While teaching at this school, an average day would unfold a little like this. Upon my arrival, the students would all be eating their taxpayer funded breakfast, and I would head towards my classroom. At the ringing of the bell, my class would remain empty for quite some time.

Arriving to class on time was not a priority for my students, and the administrative staff did not care very much to make this a priority for the students either. So, I would wait for maybe five minutes and the first of my students would begin to trickle into the classroom.

This by no means, meant that class would begin. Often, the student would arrive with their earbuds firmly cemented into their ears, and would either flat out ignore my instruction, or more likely begin to get combative when asked to take part in the days planned learning activities.

Luckily, I am immune to any sort of demeaning verbal abuse, and I actually begun to enjoy being addressed as “b*tch *ss teacher,” “white motherf*ck*ng cracker,” or an assortment of other terms of endearment that the ever-so creative students bequeathed upon me.

Anyways, eventually more students would begin to arrive, and somewhere around the time of 30 minutes after the bell had rung, hopefully about 50% of the students would have found their way to the classroom. It was rare, to ever have more than 50%.
Believe it or not, skipping class was the norm. The students found it much more enjoyable to wander throughout the halls, smoke some pot in the stairwells, and possibly get laid while they’re at it.

As the day rolled on, the students would become much more energetic. Maybe it had something to do with their buzz beginning to wear off from their morning sacrament, but somewhere around 9:30 just a little prior to their taxpayer provided lunch, the fights would begin to break out amongst the pupils.

Admittedly, fights were not an everyday occurrence, they seemed to only occur two out of every three school days. Some days though, there would be multiple fights, so the numbers would most likely average out.

These fights were seldom, i.e. never, your typical mano a mano, meeting at the flagpole. These fights always involved a large groups. Not only that, teachers were constantly threatened with violence, and often times these threats were carried out.

On multiple occasions, I was assaulted by students. Not once, however, was a student disciplined for these attacks against me. For one occurrence, I had to seek treatment for injuries suffered from the attack. Administrators, seemed to prefer to act like these attacks against teachers were typical examples of run of the mill teenage angst that could be found in any American high school.

Any concerns of the faculty, would be promptly dismissed.

Needless to say, not much learning went on within this school. Not that this mattered, the literacy rate of the student body probably equaled that of a school typical of the third world, and that was good enough to satisfy the demands of the administration.

The mission of this school was not to educate, but to proselytize and advocate for the cause of social justice. As long as the students knew that they were victims of endless white racism, that was enough to satisfy the powers that be.

There was no concern given towards producing productive citizens for our nation. For that matter, they didn’t even consider themselves as part of our nation. At school events, it was not the Star Spangled Banner that was sung, but it was the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

And that is exactly what the administrative staff wanted. To lift their voices and sing, “don’t make the black kids angry.”

Colin,

I am a middle school teacher in a Florida. It is important to note that restorative justice is reserved for mainly black students.

White, Asian, and Hispanic students can be suspended at will. I am not even allow to refer a black student to the Dean. Should I attempt to do so, it will reflect badly on me, and will affect my evaluation.

Basically, when a black student misbehaves, I have to deal with it on my own, even in cases of violence.

Last year, a black student called me all kinds of vile names. I reported it to the principal, and I was ultimately marked down on Classroom Management at the end of the year.

The student was not disciplined in any way, nor was she removed from my classroom. not even long enough for her to cool down. She bragged about it for the rest of the school year.

There are very few consequences that matter to most black students. They do not value education, and they are taught to openly defy any White, Asian, or Hispanic authority.

Honestly, suspension is vacation time for these types of students. That is why they misbehave; they want to get out of going to school.

But, there needs to be some sort of consequence. Any school system that touts the lowered number of suspensions needs to be confronted.

Ask this question:

“Has the number of behavioral incidents among black students also gone down or are you instructing school personnel to ignore the negative behaviors of black students?

Why are Whites, Asians, and Hispanics treated differently? Is your school system racist against these groups?”

Schools ignore, deny, and even condone the misbehavior and violence among black students.

They, too, are down with the cause.

Thanks for telling the truth.

Short story of my own:

In the early 1970’s. I attended a state college in the Los Angeles area and used a bicycle for transportation. There was a black bus driver who had a layover stop a few blocks from campus. One day I rode past his stopped bus, and he spit on me out the window from his driver’s seat.

“OK,” I thought. “He didn’t see me.”

The next day I rode past his stopped bus and he spit on me again. After that I took a different route to school.

I had a fellow student, a black guy, threaten me with a knife because I helped a black female student with her remedial math classwork.

A second black student threatened me with a knife when I suggested that he stop putting his hands on a woman student’s breasts and buttocks because she was yelling at him to stop. Two years later that black guy was admitted to medical school in spite of the fact that he failed second-year chemistry!

Also while I was in college, my apartment was burglarized by a black teen witnessed by my neighbors.

And not too surprising, I got the finger-gun gesture that people talk about.

Of course I don’t tell my friends and family any of this because they would label me as racist.

I lived in West Philadelphia near Osage ave. and Baltimore ave. From 1966 till 1976.

I was first robbed by black people at 8 years old, I didn’t even have anything to steal. I never rode my bike again after Dark.

There was the time that a friend of mine and I went and bought a pizza on 42nd & Baltimore Avenue on the way home we were chased by two black boys that wanted to steal it from us, my friend ran with the pizza and narrowly avoided being stabbed in the back, as he ran into Clark park.

I think I was 9 when that happened.

After that we started to carry knives or weapons.

Then of course there’s my Christian School called Pillar of Fire on 41st and Baltimore, unfortunately for me I was the fat white kid in class that got picked on and beat up by three of the black kids in class, if you were to even raise your voice to them you are being sent off to the principal’s office to have your mouth washed out with soap, of course nothing ever happened to them.

My mother’s mother lived at 4042 Chestnut Street she owned an apartment building and lived on the first floor, in 1974 my sister was staying there and got the hell beat out of her and mugged by a black predator with a lengthy criminal while coming home one night, my grandmother witnessed the attack through the glass front door, this upset her so much then she began to drink heavily and she was dead within a month from heart failure.

My best friend Dave was involved in a fight years ago where group of black males claimed that Dave and his friend called them n*gg*rs which was grounds for a flight, Dave unfortunately got hit in the face with a half gallon liquor bottle and resulted in a broken orbit.
That happened in Harrisburg.

By the way I’m happy to report that the University of Pennsylvania has saved some of the neighborhood, my former home on Larchwood Avenue that my parents sold for $63,000 in 1983 is now worth $400,000+ , the Chestnut Street property we sold in 1991 for $185,000 recently sold for half a million dollars as a tear down. Who knew?

I am now in St .Cloud Florida next to Kissimmee. I saw palm trees in the background of some of your videos over the winter, if you’re ever down this way give me a shout.

Give it a few years and they will want to take down the William Penn statue because he owned slaves, Rocky and Frank Rizzo will be right behind it like New Orleans with Civil War generals statues.

I did not want to publicly post my comment as I’m afraid it would give someone an idea.

Living in West Philadelphia until I was 10 years old I fought the good fight regularly with black students with nothing better to do with their time except antagonize white kids, mind you this was 1976 when I finally left and even back then the school principal was an apologist who refused to discipline minorities.

From there I moved Ocean City New Jersey and still any time there was a fight usually a black person was involved.

Your videos definitely stir up my memory sir, as I was usually the white kid that was on the bottom.

Thank you for all you do sir unfortunately I don’t think anyone is going to have the balls to tell the truth anytime soon.

Thank you for sharing the video regarding the Principal at Campbell Park Elementary in St. Pete Fl.

I substituted at that school before becoming a teacher in Florida. That school is absolutely disgusting, no coincidence that all the disgusting behavior is done only by blacks.

Kids were throwing desk. A 5th grader was arrested for selling drugs. Fighting started at the very first bell. Boys were walking around half naked telling girls to suck their Di$&@. Most of the support staff their are all female dindus who can’t speak proper english and and barely graduated highschool themselves.

They go outside and rub all over the PE teachers who also are dindu but don’t do anything with the kids.

The white kids walk around scared all day. There are dozens of schools in Pinellas County like Campbell Park. I see the kids IEP’s and progress reports, test, assessments etc. I know without a doubt most if not all the dindu kids are borderline retard. Can’t read, can’t write. The slightest problem academic or otherwise sets them off into a violent tirade.

There has been an influx of Immigrants that are Thai and Vietnamese in Pinellas County Schools. Those kids come from the poorest parts of Thailand and Vietnam, can hardly speak English but they out perform their dindu counterparts easily in every aspect of school including academics and much better behavior.
