Colin,

I made a throwaway since I have a feeling this will not be well received.

I am a female in my mid 20’s and was at Lake Park last night… along with half the city.

While leaving, I passed by 3 or 4 (eye witness account fail) teenagers and suddenly heard a click and felt a sharp pain on my thigh. One of them shot me with a BB gun. Or an airsoft gun. I didn’t see it. I just know that I have one of the ugliest bruises I have ever seen.

I was pissed. I immediately confronted them and demanded to know why the f*ck they did that. We exchanged words, but they basically said they did it because “I’m (referring to themselves) black.” Whereas I am a white girl, which means that I must be racist.

I have a CCW permit and often carry. I was last night I also served in the military and the initial sting made my muscle memory want to automatically reach for my weapon. Luckily I am not a trigger-happy lunatic, but what those kids did is seriously f*cking stupid.

If you’re out playing, please don’t screw with other people. Wisconsin is a conceal and carry state. You don’t know who might be carrying a weapon. I am a rather petite and look basic as f*ck. I bet in one would ever expect someone like me to pack heat. But I do.

In my earlier 20’s, I stumbled home from North Ave., completely wasted more times than I can count. Alone. So I thought: Pokemon + Lots of people + Nice neighborhood = Just don’t be dumb and I will be a-okay alone. Not true.
I should probably have known better.

In the future, I won’t be going there alone after dark unless I am with people I know. I am not afraid for my safety, it’s just easier to avoid problems.

BLACKS will attack in Packs. THAT is a Fact.

True Story. At one of my accounts in Philly, my contact there is the Manager. Helluva, good guy and if you took one look at him you know he played football for somebody somewhere. The guy is just a Massive Human Being. Turns out he started at Temple on the O Line for 3 Years and one year was one of the last cuts of the N.Y.Jets.

He told me a story where him and his buddy were working as bouncers at a place close to school and after their shift was over walked into one of those 24hr. McDonalds on Broad St. looking to pick up a burger. This was in the early a.m. Long story short they were both attacked by a group of around 40-50 blacks. 40-50 against 2. Yeah that sounds about right. The Manager wound up in the hospital and his buddy damn near DIED.

At the hospital his mom & dad was there along with his Head Football Coach at the time. His mom was crying her eyeballs out his dad & coach looked grim. This was before social media but somehow the word got out and half his team mates were there as well. I guess THAT is what you would call being “Culturally Enriched.”
