The President of the Hampton Roads, Virginia NAACP is under fire for reminding people of Trayvon’s criminal past.

NAACP president asked to step down

The first mistake the President of the NAACP in Norfolk made was saying that Trayvon Martin had a “shaky” past.

Then he admonished his membership to to react “logically, not racially” to the verdict.

This happened Friday as the lawyers prepared their closing arguments in the trial of George Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon.

The fury from Norfolk and around the country started right away. And has continued unabated.

WAVY TV news tracked down a local city councilman:

“To the majority of the African-American community, I would find it offensive,” said Norfolk City Councilman Paul Riddick.

Tristan Breaux, 25, was sworn in as president of the Norfolk NAACP in January. He is the youngest president in the branch’s history, but members of the organization are calling for him to step down.

“He obviously does not have the maturity when to speak and when not to speak,” Riddick added.

The controversy started Friday morning. Breaux’s posted a comment on his personal Facebook page about the George Zimmerman trial. The remark quickly spread.

“My initial reaction was that it wasn’t true, that somebody had gone on his Facebook and had planted this,” Riddick said. “I just couldn’t imagine the president of the Norfolk branch of the NAACP making a statement like that.”

Riddick was not upset that Breaux was lying. He was upset the President of the Norfolk NAACP was telling the truth — and contradicting the NAACP and others who portrayed Trayvon as a harmless teenager, victimized by white racism.

Breaux “obviously does not have the maturity when to speak and when not to speak,” Riddick added.

Riddick called for the national organization of the NAACP to censor or remove Breaux from office. “I think that the national office should come into this,” Riddick said. “It would be an effort to silence this fellow. I don’t know how recall process works, but I think they should recall him.”

Others on Twitter said Breax was nothing more than a member of the “Klan with a Tan.” And “You’re the shady one, Breaux.” The contempt drips from hundreds more postings like this from around the country.

Despite the efforts of prosecutors and activists to keep a lid on the troubled criminal past of Trayvon, his involvement with drugs, violence and theft is becoming increasingly well known.

Twitter, Facebook, and toxicology tests have established Trayvon’s long and enthusiastic acquaintance with marijuana and codeine. Says Jack Cashill over at American Thinker:

Trayvon, in fact, had become a devotee of the druggy concoction known as “Lean,” also known in southern hip-hop culture as “Sizzurp” and “Purple Drank.”  Lean consists of three basic ingredients — codeine, a soft drink, and candy.  If his Facebook postings are to be believed, Trayvon had been using Lean since at least June 2011.

On June 27, 2011, Trayvon asks a friend online, “unow a connect for codien?”  He tells the friend that “robitussin nd soda” could make “some fire ass lean.”  He says, “I had it before” and that he wants “to make some more.”  On the night of February 26, if Brandy had some Robitussin at home, Trayvon had just bought the mixings for one “fire ass lean” cocktail.

Mixing codeine and fruit juice is a popular topic with rap stars, including one of the biggest of all, Li’l Wayne.

The Daily Mail over in London did a wrap up story about how Trayvon was suspended from school three times for fighting, drug abuse, and vandalism.

And it was almost four: While investigating the vandalism charges — he was caught scrawling graffiti on the school house walls — school officials found burglary tools and 12 pieces of female jewelry in his locker.

The Miami Herald broke this story after finding out about it almost by accident.

In October, a school police investigator said he saw Trayvon on the school surveillance camera in an unauthorized area “hiding and being suspicious.” Then he said he saw Trayvon mark up a door with “W.T.F” — an acronym for “what the f—.” The officer said he found Trayvon the next day and went through his book bag in search of the graffiti marker.

Instead the officer reported he found women’s jewelry and a screwdriver that he described as a “burglary tool,” according to a Miami-Dade Schools Police report obtained by The Miami Herald. Word of the incident came as the family’s lawyer acknowledged that the boy was suspended in February for getting caught with an empty bag with traces of marijuana, which he called “irrelevant” and an attempt to demonize a victim.

Trayvon’s backpack contained 12 pieces of jewelry, in addition to a watch and a large flathead screwdriver, according to the report, which described silver wedding bands and earrings with diamonds.

Trayvon was asked if the jewelry belonged to his family or a girlfriend.

“Martin replied it’s not mine. A friend gave it to me,” he responded, according to the report. Trayvon declined to name the friend.

Trayvon was not disciplined because of the discovery, but was instead suspended for graffiti, according to the report. School police impounded the jewelry and sent photos of the items to detectives at Miami-Dade police for further investigation.

Trayvon was shot while on suspension from high school.

Thanks to the Daily Caller we know Trayvon’s Twitter account was full of references to his experiences with drugs and violence. One Facebook posting referred to Trayvon punching a bus driver, but that was never confirmed.

Trayvon’s parents, lawyers and supporters said his criminal past had nothing to do with his death. They say that Trayvon was just a teenager walking home before he was stalked and assassinated by a deprave “wannabe” cop.

These are just some of the hundreds of examples of racial violence and lawlessness in more than 80 cities around the country as documented in my book: White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence to America.

Thomas Sowell said : ”Reading Colin Flaherty’s book made painfully clear to me that the magnitude of this problem is greater than I had discovered from my own research. He documents both the race riots and the media and political evasions in dozens of cities.” – National Review.

Agreed. The truths comprised of limitless facts about Black behavior should be told to non-Blacks of the world, not just here in America.

It’s been said that the truth shall set one free, I concur. PC rhetoric and obfuscation through maliciously deliberate or misguided good will, have torn apart this great nation.
Only when the facts aka truths are revealed, shall there be a better clarity and purpose of the much needed cures and preventions to this long standing malady.

A nationwide “Castle Doctrine” and “Stand Your Ground” laws applicable to personal safety, home, transport, and business would be great for starters.

Yes, full disclosure is what this country needs to conduct a much long overdue healing indeed.

Mr. Flaherty:

The events over the recent years have left an indelible mark on the psyches of everyday American citizens. What events am I talking about? Well let’s see the flash mobs, the news that the MSM has been hiding random acts of racial violence from the public, the Trayvon Martin trial, the Snowden scandal, Benghazi, and the IRS targeting political groups..just to name a few. These events have in many ways caused trauma to the everyday American working and middle class citizens who want to hold to the belief that the ‘system’ works. In short, the trust in the institutions that have held our society together ( the news media, the government, the legal system, etc) has been dismantled.

In trauma work with clients, a practitioner will often apply the tenets of the Karpman triangle. This ‘model’ so to speak outlines the roles people play when boundaries fail. People in relationships, be these relationships be romantic, platonic, or in a group work setting, will tend to take on ‘roles’. The three roles individuals or groups may take are victim/martyr, perpetrator/offender, or rescuer/enabler.

Looking at how the media set the stage so to speak for the Trayvon Martin murder trial, one can see how each ‘player’ was ascribed a role to play. Trayvon was the victim. Zimmerman was the perpetrator. The rescuer or enabler could be the media, the government, the Obama / Holder team, and/or the DOJ.

As information was disclosed and leaked and as the trial played out, it was apparent that Trayvon was perhaps the offender/perpetrator and Zimmerman the victim/ martyr. Again, the rescuer being the ‘establishment’ ( government, law, DOJ, etc).

Feelings that are brought up through the relationships between the roles( offender/perpetrator, victim/martyr, rescuer/enabler) are those of guilt and entitlement. Each person/group in each role may act out or act in these feelings, but all three roles feel them.

Of note is the rescuer/enabler. This role stands out as the ‘superstar’ role. The ‘caretaker’ or ‘fix it’ person. Yet this role is self serving and wields power through control, manipulation, and compliance from others. How interesting that our ‘public servants’ such as the likes as Holder et al. or the MSM or the prosecution in this case would be viewed as ‘rescuers or enablers’. It seems to me they have become the offenders/perpetrators of injustice on everyday citizens merely trying to defend themselves.

It seems to me that Trayvon and teens like him in the US have been mishandled and enabled as well through the enabling education system which preaches from the pulpit of Critical Race Theory. The proponents of this theory speak in error of White Privilege. These enabler/ rescuers believe they are acting as caretakers of kids like Trayvon when in fact their erroneous theoretical stance has unleashed rageful teens acting out violence towards unsuspecting and gaslighted (see my prior posts) victims.

American society’s psyche has been traumatized. Healing is needed. This healing will only occur when the truth is disclosed to the everyday American citizens about the violence that is happening to everyday people and the lies of Critical Race Theory are halted. Then there will be less victims and less offenders.
