Dear Reporter,
Why do you insist on referring to these juvenile delinquents in respect to their race? You are ascribing negative meaning to the physical trait of black features when you continue to define the violent youth in respect to race.

The issue is not their blackness. These are juvenile delinquents. There is a high percentage of urban poverty in the black American population and it leads to dysfunctional households, producing dysfunctional children.

The issues are poverty and bad parenting.

As reflected in the video, many black youth oppose the misbehavior and lead socially positive lives. Please do not incite racial prejudice with headlines that refer to the racial makeup of the group or any group.

People can see the majority black involvement in this case.

Are you a Christian? If so, you know why you should not be racially divisive. I’ll leave it at that. And our God does punish us when “we” misbehave.

Rev. Merrick

May I recommend a few verses from a little book called the Bible:
Galatians 4:16  ►
And my favorite: SPEAK THE TRUTH, AND FEAR NOT.
