Yes, the times are getting perilous and I fully agree on what you say is happening.
I wanted to give you a message about something that happened a few months ago, I live in the Metropolitan Detroit area and I think it was during Christmas week last year and Mike Gallagher was on vacation so repeats were being played on WTDK The Patriot, located in Ferndale, MI,
Mike has a repeat of a segment of an interview with you and your book, White Girl Bleed A Lot. So, as I remember the segment as it originally played earlier, I didn’t expect what would happen on the replay, whoever was at the station that day, decided to interrupt, no, edit it out on the segment completely!
Once you mentioned about the attacks of black people against white individuals, all of a sudden there was no sound and after a while, commercials were just being played for many minutes! This, from a supposedly Conservative station, the management, was cowardly and irresponsible at best.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell about this. I’ve read your book, White Girl Bleeds A lot, several times and many years ago, did have the same thing happen to me by some teenagers who walked past me but the group was mostly black with a few white kids mixed in.
The teenager who hit me was black and struck me behind my head but I didn’t get knocked out, he just didn’t hit me hard enough or my head is just too thick to have suffered a concussion (lucky or blessed). They just laughed and went about as if it was all fun and didn’t care who they can hurt.
I will never be taken unawares again and am always prepared to take care of matters if it should happen. It’s the only way to be.
