New: Black mob violence in Rochester: lots of it.

Here is a video of the suspects in some black mob violence in Rochester.

Lots of it. For a long time. Tons of videos below. A preview of an upcoming story:

Preview of an article:

City councilman Adam McFadden has to be wondering why so many people are still so puzzled at the frequent and intense black mob violence in Rochester

McFadden explained it all to us just two years ago.

The city of Rochester had just closed a park because of mob of 200 black people started fighting and destroying property at a local beach during a Memorial Day Rib Festival. Thirteen black people were arrested. At least one police officer was hurt.

The local ABC affiliate reeled off the names of other parts of town where mob violence was now a regular feature of life. Including the popular downtown Liberty Pole.

Per usual, no one in the media said everyone involved in the mayhem was black.

McFadden to the rescue:

“I think what you saw at the beach is what we’ve been seeing in many of our neighborhoods for two decades,” black) Councilman McFadden told WHAM TV. “It’s just that you had a lot of people there who are not used to that culture and got to witness it personally.”

Two years later, it is back. Or, as most locals say, the racial violence never went away.

The latest “large fight” happened in the last week of September. Councilman McFadden was downtown when “he intervened after encountering a large crowd of kids fighting one another and running away from police,” said the Democrat and Chronicle. “The Liberty Pole is the site of regular fights and disorder, particularly before and after school is in session.”

This fight was a bit different. Someone fired a gun. The police report described the chief suspect as a “male black, wearing a blue hoodie with a turquoise hood.”

The newspaper repeated the description except it left out one detail: The suspect was black.

The school describes the violence as “inappropriate behavior.” The local NBC station said all the students cause “chaos.”

But a police surveillance video backs up what the residents are saying on the web sites: Everyone involved is black.

“Wary people avoid the Liberty Pole during the school year,” said Rochester resident Charlie Yanaitis. “There’s been problems for years at the Liberty Pole during the school year as it’s the main transfer point for school kids in downtown Rochester. It’s mostly black on black violence there.”

The list of places that people should avoid if they wish to avoid black mob violence in Rochester is long and getting longer.

The annual Lilac Festival the week before Memorial Day is also the site of regular black mob violence. By the time it was over this year, 200 people were arrested and four people were stabbed. A man with a shotgun escaped and two police officers were hurt.

Two months prior to the festival, the police chief sent potential criminals a letter, saying he was watching them and they’d better start behaving.

“We care about you as individuals, as well as all citizens in the City of Rochester, who deserve to live freely without the threat of gun violence,” said Chief James Sheppard. “This is our new way of doing business and I thought it was important to let you know. Please go tell your friends.”

Six weeks later, prior to the fair, local media was reporting “increased violence in the city over the past 10 days.”

At first city officials downplayed the chaos, saying there was no violence inside the fair itself. That fiction did not last long as one person after another came forward to tell their story in the comments section of the Democrat and Chronicle.

Rob Sands was just one of several to contradict official attempts to downplay the violence: “The Monroe County parks director said no fights occurred within the festival site itself. That is a straight up lie.”

Local reporters do not – or will not – report what many readers know: “Let’s face it, this is a racial problem,” said Ann Marie Cummings in the comment section of the Democrat and Chronicle. “Whether it is the Puerto Rican fest, last year at the rib fest, or problems at sea breeze with gangs. It’s obvious these street thugs pick arenas … large amount of people attending.”

Joe Baxton took to the comments to report another episode of black mob violence earlier that day:

“About a half hour ago, I was on my way home from lunch. I was stopped at a light in front of the county jail where the prisoner release door is. And there erupted a huge fight between 50 black (people). They ran across the street, stopped traffic dead and continued to fight on the side walk across from the jail. I betting this is a continuation of the nonsense which occurred at the Lilac Festival. The ones arrested must have been released and this group of black (people) was waiting for them to continue the fight. What on earth is going on in my city? I have never seen anything like this in my entire life.”

Sometimes black mobs in Rochester like some variety. So in September, 400 to 500 black people from Rochester took public transportation to a mall in neighboring Irondequoit. Soon after, police closed down a movie theater after 400 to 500 black people started fighting inside and outside a showing of the movie Insidious, Chapter 2.

“I saw police officers chasing kids, as we were pulling out of the parking lot to leave we saw police officer knock kids to the ground and one police officer was batoning kids,” said Alton Johnson to Rochester YNN.

Lt. Jonna Izzo explained it all to News 8: “They have pent up energy from being scared in the movie theater and they come out and they don’t know what to do with that energy.”

Lt. Izzo has obviously never talked with Councilman McFadden.

Some residents said it was strange that anyone could blame a large scale act of violence and mayhem on a movie. Other said it had nothing to with the movie: That mall and others in Irondequoit have been plagued by black mob violence for years:

“So it’s not the first time and won’t be the last !!,” said David Sevor at the web site for WHAM TV news. “It’s sad these young teenagers don’t know how to behave out in public.”

Mike Alpaha was more explicit:

It’s been a problem that has been escalating for a long time. White people are the real problem! You’re all too scared to speak up and talk about the real problem!

These young black kids are out of control and have no discipline in the home. They have no respect for anyone (especially white people). But everyone is scared of being called a racist for telling it how it is.

I’m not a racist, but I can say that the inner city black youth are out of control and only getting worse!

Four police departments from neighboring jurisdictions assisted. City officials called the bus company, which responded with extra buses to return the rioters to Rochester.

No one was arrested.

Also in September, a group of more than 20 black people on bicycles surrounded a woman and her teenage son and stole their phone. One witness to the crime told WHAM that was not the first time:

Earlier in the week, her little sister was robbed at the bus station less than one block away from Friday’s reported robbery. Sadiya Curtis said some men on bicycles rolled by on a bike and snatched her phone.

Compared with Baltimore, Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., Detroit, St. Louis, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Greensboro, Newark, and other cities, few would say the level of racial violence in Rochester is worse.

But it is more photographed.

Local reporter Tim Louis Macaluso of the Roc City News was among the first to notice that local shutterbugs are very, very active when large groups of black people start creating mayhem.

They seem to document a Clockwork Orange-like breakdown in civility.

Rochester is known for many things –Kodak, lilacs, Susan B. Anthony, and Frederick Douglass, for starters.

But go to YouTube.com and type in a search for Rochester, NY, and you’ll see that Rochester is popular with viewers for something else: teen fights.

The second group of videos the search will offer is titled “Rochester fights.” Click it and you’ll see about a dozen 2- to 6-minute videos of young Rochester teens, mostly African-American and Hispanic boys, going at it.

We saved you the trouble. A collection, here.

Police are still trying to figure out why a black mob beat Richard Daughenbaugh to death at a popular downtown Des Moines fishing spot one week ago.

Daughenbaugh, a father of six who worked as a construction laborer, did not know his killers, say police. But at 1 a.m., he found himself exchanging words with members of a mob that numbered in the dozens.

The Des Moines Register picks up the narrative with a sterile account that understates the violence and ignores the race of the attackers:

The suspects allegedly beat Daughenbaugh using no weapons other than their own bodies while others in the group tried to stop anyone from helping, police said.

A woman fishing nearby tried to step in and stop the assault and was struck, police said. Her companion was attacked as he jumped in to defend her.

And when the woman tried to call 911, two women from the group allegedly grabbed her phone and threw it. She eventually retrieved it and called 911.

Translation: Several people attacked Daughenbaugh. Several people attacked the fishermen who tried to help. And several people attacked the people who tried to dial 911. And lots of others watched and cheered. All black

The Register picks it up again, quoting a police spokesman: “The phrase ‘mob mentality’ is probably accurate here. Once the assault began, acquaintances of the suspect jumped in.”

Richard Daughenbaugh joins a growing list of victims of recent black mob violence. Some lethal. In August, two black people were charged with the murder of 88-year old Delbert Berton in Spokane. A few days before, two black people were charged with the murder of Chris Lane, an Australian student living in Oklahoma. A few days before that, a car full of black people were charged with killingDavid Santucci , a 27-year old Memphis nurse.

A few days before that, Ray Widstrand was walking through a black section of St. Paul when a mob of 100 black people beat him into a coma and permanent brain damage. If he lives.

Last Monday, three black gunmen killed Greig Placette in a Denny’s restaurant in Houston. Placette died trying to shield several children from the gunfire.

Like Des Moines, local police officials and media are loathe to talk about the race of the attackers — or victims.

People who work for the police department in Des Moines have learned to be careful about how they refer to racial violence. The last one to do it got fired.

Her name was Lori Lavorato. She was the spokeswoman for the Des Moines police department during “Beat Whitey Night” at the Iowa State Fair in 2010.  When reporters asked her if the attackers were black and victims were white, she told the truth and said they were.

Soon after, she was fired: Sent down to traffic division. The Register reported:

Police commanders later said they found no credible evidence the fights were racially motivated.

”I had some real concerns with us making that leap and making a remark like that publicly,” (police chief) Bradshaw told The Des Moines Register in an Aug. 26 interview. “That’s a huge statement that, quite frankly, can provoke emotions on both sides of the issue.

”People are very sensitive to remarks like that, so I had some real grave concerns about us stepping out and I wanted to make certain that we were right to message the State Fair events that way.”

No evidence? Other than a police report — now Posted at Smoking Gun — saying the people were shouting “Beat Whitey Night?  Other than the fact that all the attackers were black and all the victims were white?  Other than the fact it happened several nights in a row?  Other than the fact is was on video?

There was “no evidence:” i.e. The attackers did not issue a press release carry signs with racial slogans prior to the attack.

The Iowa attacks are part of a nationwide epidemic of black mob violence: More than 500 cases in more than 100 cities documented in the upcoming WND Book: White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it.

The book documents Beat Whitey Night and contains a QR code that enables readers to watch videos of the racial violence as they read about it in the book.

On Friday, police charged three black men with murder of Richard Daughenbaugh. They also issued warrants for several other people for theft and assault.

There are no charges pending on those who watched and laughed shouted encouragement.

The family of Richard Daughenbaugh unsuccessfully tried to make sense of the crime that took away a father, a friend, a husband, a neighbor. Residents of Des Moines wonder what kind of place their city has become.

Police issued warnings for residents to stay safe by walking in groups in well lit places.

“Are you serious?,” asked Larry Leighton at the WHOTV web site. “He WAS near a group of people. THEY’RE the ones who beat him!”

Several more questioned why the police chief and local press was so hesitant to identify the attackers by race: “Yet the black on white murder of Daughenbaugh is a “random” crime.,” said Greta Simmons. “Un-f*ing-believable.”

Some readers said anyone who noticed all the attackers were black and the victims were white is racist: “I see nothing in this article that makes me believe that they killed this man because he was white,” said Chris Doyle at the Des Moines Register. “They beat him to death because he was there and nothing more… You are no better then Jesse and Al when you point to race first.”

The got the full attention of many readers who wanted to know why the Register does not identify victims of black on white violence, but has not problem giving full exposure to allegations of white on black violence, as was the case of Trayvon Martin,

Said Greta Simmons: “What a bunch of liberal platitudes. These guys didn’t kill this man because they were poor. They did it out of HATRED, out of RACIAL ANIMUS. If poverty really breeds violence (that tired old Sociology 101 meme), why does Clay County, Kentucky–one of the poorest counties in the United States–have such a low murder rate? Could it be because it’s 93% white?”

These are just some of the hundreds of examples of racial violence and lawlessness in more than 80 cities around the country as documented in my book: White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence to America.

Thomas Sowell said : ”Reading Colin Flaherty’s book made painfully clear to me that the magnitude of this problem is greater than I had discovered from my own research. He documents both the race riots and the media and political evasions in dozens of cities.” – National Review.

WhiteGirl_wtih_Badge_R14Preview of an article at FrontPage magazine.

Tim Oberlander says he wants to be able to live in a city that does good things for good people.

So what’s wrong with that?

Everything.

Oberlander is a news editor at KGW TV in Portland.  His city is under attack from black mob violence centered on and around Martin Luther King Boulevard. This mob has been attacking bike riders, housewives, students, you name it. These attacks are part of a long — but quiet — history of racial violence in a city that prides itself on racial tolerance and harmony.

But Tim does not want to let us know that.

Tim and his station are  raising money to fix the teeth of a recent victim of black mob violence. “I want to live in a city where people do good things for other people,” Tim said. “Now we’ve raised money for Andy’s teeth, I can say that we live in a city that does good things for good people.”

Tim might be a good person. But he is a bad and dangerous and unreliable reporter. Here is what Tim’s station, KGW, had to say about a few recent attacks:

“Police were warning bicyclists in Northeast Portland to be on the lookout after two men were injured during separate attacks along Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.”

Andy Sweeney is the beneficiary of Tim’s editorial largesse. He was riding home from the grocery store when a “group of teens” threw a traffic cone at him. Knocking him off his bike, leaving him with a concussion and two shattered front teeth in what used to be a winning smile.

“It’s crazy,” Sweeney told KGW. “I don’t really understand their motivation or what they were going for.”

Lots of readers figured it out, even if the reporters were determined to ignore it:

“Great job ‘whitewashing’ the story,” said David Klassix on the station’s comments section, “and falling to mention the attackers were black.”

Said another, Chloe Ru

“Hey KGW. I will help you do something called REPORTING THE FACTS instead of hiding the truth,” said Ru. Another victim said “her attackers were a group of [AFRICAN AMERICAN aka BLACK] teenage boys and she suspects they didn’t stop with her.”

“Anyone with any information about a roaming pack of AFRICAN AMERICAN aka BLACK teenage thugs beating anyone else, please call…..Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. They care just as much as KGW does about the community’s safety.”

The paper did not mention it. But Sweeney described his attackers on Twitter: “Black kids in hoodies.”

After the sanitized version of the bike attacks became public, other victims of black mob violence in that area stepped forward as well, one at Reddit.com in response to Sweeney’s Tweet:

“Same thing happened to me once except it was a rocks being thrown, and thankfully my teeth are intact. The best you can do is just avoid being around any collection of young black males. It isn’t being racist it’s just being practical.”

Many of the attacks are centered around Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. Maybe local media thinks everyone already knows this is a black part of town. For the benefit of the out of towners, it is.

Some readers provided a link to the Chris Rock comedy bit:

“You know what’s sad? Martin Luther King stood for non violence,” said Rock.  “And I don’t care where you are in America, if you’re on Martin Luther King Boulevard, there’s some violence going down.

It ain’t the safest place to be. You can’t call nobody and tell them you are lost on MLK.”  (If you do, will say) RUN! RUN! RUN!.

Sad. Sad. Sad.

One of the recent victims, middle aged woman, wound up in the emergency room. The other passed around a flier, warning neighbors to be on the lookout. Said KGW:

“I heard some noise across the street and apparently one of the guy that was trying to vandalize the car came across the street,” said Amy Wilson. “(He) hit me very, very hard. (He) knocked me out cold. I fell back and hit my head on the sidewalk.”

She suffered a concussion and needed 12 stitches to close the wound on the back of her head.

Wilson said her attackers were a group of teenage boys and she suspects they didn’t stop with her. “I’m almost convinced that it’s the same group that we’ve talked about that are going against cyclists,” she said.

Then another victim came forward at the Oregon Live web site:

It was at least the second time in less than a week that a group of teenagers had assaulted a bicyclist along MLK.

Last Tuesday night, Bill Lynch, 64, had just crossed MLK as he pedaled home from a garden party when someone in a group of “three to five young people” knocked him off his bicycle on the Northeast Going Street Neighborhood Greenway.

“They were walking down the middle of the street like they owned it,” Lynch said. “I don’t know what hit me. A strong fist? Something in someone hand? It hurt.”

Lynch said he was riding past the group and the blow “came out of nowhere.”

“When I filed a police report the officer said similar nighttime incidents had occurred in the neighborhood recently,” Lynch writes in a flyer that he posted in his neighborhood to encourage people to be more vigilant. “I learned there was another attack on Aug. 19. In a couple of cases, the bicyclists were beaten and had their bikes stolen.

And another, Chris Freeman, who wrote:

I was also attacked by a group of about five kids on bikes at NE 7th and Stanton at about 11pm on Aug 17. One of them jumped off his bike and tried to push me over. Luckily I didn’t lose my balance after being pushed and was able to get away.

Still another:

Bummer man. I was riding near SEI in North Portland a few years ago with my 3 year old daughter in a Burley behind me when 5 dudes (yes, they had dark skin) jumped our and threw rocks at us. Amazingly, considering how close they were and how many there were they completely missed and I hightailed it out of there, just feeling really sad about humanity.

Some were willing to point out the obvious: “There’s a lot of black-on-white animosity in NE and N Portland. Especially towards white bicyclists.”

All the suspects in all of these attacks are black.

But others in Portland, like Tim, are eager to say they live in a city without racial tension — or violence.  Several commenters at the Reddit.com news site say white people do it all the time too.

“But there are dumbass white kids who dress the same that are capable of doing stupid shit like this, too. The kids in this instance didn’t necessarily have to be black, but it is what it is.

Dumbassedness knows no racial bounds.”

But none of these people supplied police reports, links, pictures or even anecdotes of roving bands of caucasian youth creating violence against black people — or anyone else.

Others in Portland grudgingly admit that violence is real. But they plead guilty with an explanation: Said someone at Reddit.com identified as Kounterculture:

“I think that a lot of it has to do with the fact that in the african-american community bicycling isn’t seen as a viable alternative to the automobile. It isn’t mostly racial animosity, although I’m sure some of that goes on.”

Black mob violence against bicyclists and others has been a regular — and unreported –feature of life in Portland since at least 2007. Bike Portland reported six years ago several cases of black mob violence against bikers.

The web site mentioned the race of the attackers, largely to dismiss racial violence as having anything to do with it:

I don’t think these attacks are solely about race, but I also don’t think the conversation is real and honest if we don’t mention it.

And I think any mention of race must also include the realities of gentrification in Northeast Portland. I think there remains resentment in the black community about gentrification…but whether that has to do with bikes and whites is hard to say.

Are bikes somehow symbolic of whites and gentrification to the eyes black community? I’m not sure, but it’s a question I’d like to delve deeper into. It’s certainly obvious that Portland’s cycling population could be more diverse.

For those who require some help with translation, here it is: Black mobs attack bike riders in Portland because they are not diverse enough.

More than a dozen examples of black mob violence in Portland are documented in White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it. Many of these cases are on video.

The book features QR codes that readers can scan with their smart phones to watch the violence on their smart phones as they read about it. Some recent cases:

Last year, 10 to 15 hoodie wearing black people invaded Nordstrom, stole clothing and raced out of the store. On video.

The locals were far from upset. Said one man who called himself the Crazed Sex Poodle to a local news site:

“I am actually sort of hoping that it happens more, it seems like a trend worth encouraging. Giant corporations like Nordstrom and Chevron steal everyday, taking back is something worth fostering.”

A few days before that, a mob of 20 black people chased a white couple into a convenience store. The local papers described the ensuing assault and robbery as a “fight.” The mob left when one of the employees sprayed them with “bear spray.”

A few days before that: “A large group of kids stormed” into a convenience store and stole everything they could carry. They came back later to threaten the clerk. On video.

A few months after that, a bigger crowd attacked an Albertson’s grocery store, following the same play book: Theft, destruction, intimidation. And no arrests. Despite the video.

KPTV – FOX 12   Still, people seemed surprised when in June, a group of 150 black people — described by the newspapers as drunken teenagers — assaulted several people in a Portland park, robbing at least one of them. The newspaper — and the TV broadcast — may have shied away from describing the attackers, but the internet site of a local TV station was a little more revealing: “Both fights involved groups of black teenagers randomly attacking people in the park.   The following night, a group of 20 to 30 black people, came upon three people on a tennis courts at the same park: “Some of the teens began throwing bottles onto the court and calling out to them. They said the teens then began fighting with them.” In January of this year, a 14-year old white girl was beat down by three black women while about a dozen other black people took videos, shouted racial epithets, and encouraged the assault.  Four people were arrested, including a mother of two of the assailants.  The mother was convicted of giving police false information while trying to hide her daughters. Taleeb Starkes describes many examples of black on white crime in his book: The Uncivil War.

“Portland is one of the most liberal cities in the country,” said Starkes. “They are quite proud of that. But this same liberalism is causing them to ignore, condone and excuse black on white crime and black mob violence. People who commit these horrific acts of violence are one thing. But people who condone them by ignoring them or refusing to tell the truth about them only encourage more them to occur. Those folks are sicker than the criminals.”

New e-book PREVIEW edition now available at WND SuperStore.

New e-book PREVIEW edition now available at WND SuperStore.

Two black people beat Delbert Benton to death earlier this week.

The local papers say the killing of this 89-year old World War Two hero was “random. And “teens” did it.

Maybe they were teenagers. Maybe they weren’t. But the killing was “random?”

Not hardly.

Not to anyone who ever took — and passed — high school statistics.

Black mob violence exists overwhelmingly out of proportion. Anyone reporter who calls it“random” betrays at least one of two facts:

1) They are ignorant of high school math;

2) They are purposefully disguising the nature and frequency and intensity of black mob violence.

Sometimes they get away with it, the reporters, that is. A story runs. A few people get upset. Maybe there is a community meeting where the neighbors cower as black and liberal activists stand up and demand more free stuff as a way to stop the violence.

If people who live nearby say anything, most of it is prefaced with long and halting denials of their racism for what they are about to say. Which is usually nothing other than apologizing for noticing their neighborhood is a lot more dangerous today than it used to be.

And that is it.

This time is different. The level of outrage at local and national web sites is vast and rising. It began with the recent killing of Chris Lane, the Australian student attending college in Oklahoma.

Now Delbert “Shorty” Benton in Spokane.

Comments at local TV news outlets are being measured in the thousands. Ditto for national sites like CNN. And the conservative blogosphere is on fire.

All saying the same thing: What’s up with this epic level of black on white violence? And when are reporters going to stop excusing, condoning and ignoring it?

The response, like crime, is not random.

Even the liberals are getting more and more fatigued at trying to explain the unexplainable: How the people responsible are not really responsible.

Meamwhile, in Memphis: Two black people set some dude on fire.

Letter from a cop.

  • I have personally experienced this type of black mob violence my entire life and it is nothing new. While it is not uncommon for it to be black on black, it is more common black on white.

I grew up in and around XXXXX during the 70’s & 80’s and this was commonplace. As you may know this town is predominantly black. I have account after account of this type of behavior in the black community during my youth. Either witnessing it first hand or being victimized myself.

Today, I work in law enforcement in XXXXXX. I can honestly say that having been in policing since 1987, 99% of all violent crime I have witnessed, experienced, responded to, investigated, and taken action against has been perpetrated by a black person.

And its not a new phenomenon, however society’s awakening to it is only beginning. I liken it to how police brutality was initially exposed as cell phone video cameras became commonplace. What is also commonplace is how the media suppresses it.

It’s not that the police don’t recognize black on white violent crime. Its so commonplace that its a norm in the profession. If white people in general cannot call it out without being pummeled as a racist, imagine the reaction if a police officer does? Today, every single police action involving a black person is seen through a lens of discrimination, even when the officer is black!

Recognize that the police are under the media and societies microscope during any encounter in the black community. The “race card” is so interwoven into every aspect of American life that it has created a “blanket of white guilt, stifling any dialogue, outcry, or action to the violence.

Wow! I planned on sending you a link to a recent article and all that just came out! I can honestly say you are the first I’ve seen speaking openly on this topic and I want to thank you.

Here’s the article, a sad sad story:

Cover4 high resIf you only watch one video of black mob violence this year, make it this one.

The scene: A Florida school bus in August of 2013. As beat downs go, maybe it was worse than average. Maybe not.

But if you look at other cases like this — and cases far, far, worse — they are described far less dramatically.

Beating? No, too judgmental.

More often than not, these beatings are described as scuffles. Melees. Brawls. Fights.

That way you do not have to worry about pinning the blame on anyone. Even if it is something like a mob of nine black people in Green Bay against 2 tourists who just happened to be cops.

That was a scuffle.

And the motivation for the beat down, if there is one? There are lots of those too: Poverty. Family. Neighborhood. Schools. Heck, I’ve even heard sidewalks.

But the videos change all that. We have two of this beating. The first from the back of the bus. There we see three fifteen year olds kicking, punching and stomping the hapless 13-year old.

The newscaster tells the other students were cheering. We also know from the video that the victim was the only white person on the bus. Including the bus driver.

The back of the bus video also shows us something that did not happen: No one helped. Sometimes what does not happen is more important than what does happen.

As Sherlock Holmes reminded us in the “dog that did not bark.”

Let’s go now to the front of the bus: The attack from the bus driver’s point of view. The victim is lying low, waiting to get off. We cannot hear if any words are exchanged.

WFLA-TV News Channel 8 By now we know at least one of the three attackers tried to sell him drugs earlier at school. The victim apparently told the school principal. As the bus stops, the white boy tries to leave. Then the violence begins. Punching. Stomping. Yelling. Screaming. All the while the bus driver is calling police for help. But not making any effort to rescue the child himself. This is a difficult video to watch. But if you, please look at the predators doing the beating. Now answer a few questions: Was it the poverty? Was it the poor schooling? Was it the lousy neighborhoods? How about lack of jobs? Were they angry at the stop and frisk policy? Was it for Trayvon? Or is this violence on another level? A whole different scenario than the usual antiseptic accounts we read about in the daily papers buried in small stories on page 8? How many people are aware of this level and intensity and frequency of violence that happens every day? But ignore the victim? And only try to help us understand the predators that did this? Way way too many. And many of them working big city newsrooms and run big city police departments. There is a ton of this violence happening. And the only thing — THE ONLY THING — that makes this special is that we caught so much of it on video. Cover4 high res

Great job on getting 911 calls for the July 4 riot at the CBS affiliate in Chicago.

The anchor Rob Johnson asks: “Why are we just hearing about this now?”

Because you are not reading this site. Or my book: White Girl Bleed a Lot.

I got it from Chicago cops.

And they got it from Second City Cop. And posted it a few weeks ago. Not the 911 calls. The riots.

Oh yeah, CBS forgot one thing: The riots were a black thing.

The police brass  say it was isolated. Small. Nothing much. Same as the other hundreds of examples.

Any more questions?

Here is what I posted a few weeks ago: Black mob violence: Chicago steps up and fights back.:

Now the cops in Chicago are getting pissed off that the media is ignoring black mob violence downtown.

I received an email from a Chicago cop saying so.

This from the Great Blog: Second City Cop:

If the media doesn’t cover it, did it actually happen?
The fireworks downtown were a complete disaster again tonight, but I’m sure we’ll all hear about what a smashing success it was tomorrow morning.

The terrorists were running around in large packs with multiple citizens relating that these cannibals were throwing M80′s at the good citizens that were actually willing to spend their hard earned money in crime ridden Chicago.

Not only were the groups throwing explosives at people, but it wouldn’t be a weekend in downtown Chicago unless they conveniently renowned iphone and handbags from their owners.

My favorite part of the evening was when a sergeant asked the officers stationed at the Oak Street Beach entrance at Michigan avenue to push back the group to prevent then from reaching the beach, the officer calmly stated “there’s only me and one other officer, so I don’t think that’s happening.” What a circus.
If it was a circus, more people would be laughing. Here, the clowns are in charge, not the ringmaster.

More reports from Second City Blog:

THOUSANDS of M/1 and F/1 yutes roving about Chicago Ave in the hours after the fireworks, creating their own special brand of mayhem. All the chaos appeared to be in perfect sync with the “plan” rolled out by The Command Staff. AND not enough trains or buses to move the plague back to the south and west sides…welcome to the new 4th o’ July!

In the hours before and after the fireworks, there were scores of i-phone and property reallocations along the lakefront between Ohio and North Ave. A “lady” was stabbed at the Lincoln Park baseball fields. At Chicago and State, overheard an out-of-towner say “looks like the 47% is at it again…” game over — Chicago lost this one BAD.

Another:

The group of 30+ male blacks that were punching and pushing everybody down to take their phones was crazy. People were falling down to the ground in the fetal position to prevent these robberies from occurring. I would say the ratio out there was 1 PO to 5000 people.

Another:

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, DO NOT come downtown if you value your life, your child’s safety or any property that you are carrying! Last nite 18 had the worst infestation of ghetto rats that we have ever seen in all our years on the job.

Besides creating general havoc in every corner of the district they pummeled good citizens, looted numerous convenience stores, were throwing fireworks at families, fighting everyone that got in their way and stripped countless individuals of any valuables they carried. Don’t recall any shootings but did hear of a few stabbings.

Complaining of a lack of manpower is fruitless at this point. The vermon has taken over the Mag Mile and surrounding area and all we can do to protect the citizenry and tourists is to strongly suggest that they DO NOT come downtown!

Then followed up by another great news source in Chicago doing ten times the work — quantity and quality — with 1/100 the resources.

Teen Busted for Terrorizing Tourists On Michigan Avenue – The Loop – DNAinfo.com Chicago

Shedrick was walking through Water Tower Park, between Pearson Street and Chicago Avenue, with several other men and women Friday evening when he loudly screamed, “F— the police,” according to court records.

Shedrick then ran onto Michigan Avenue, jumping and flailing his arms in the middle of traffic. When police officers told him to stop, Shedrick responded, “F— you. You ain’t so tough. Say it in my face,” records state.

The teen then headed West on Chicago Avenue, this time on the sidewalk, but still flailing his arms and jumping side to side. Pedestrians were forced off the sidewalk and into the street with traffic by his behavior, according to court records. Shedrick was arrested just before 10 p.m. Friday.

FINALLY THE TRIBUNE WEIGHS IN:

Authorities: 2 held in July 4th Near North robberies – chicagotribune.com

It was about ten minutes into the fireworks displays on a lake shore crowded with families, seniors, and strollers, when Gary Dailey began noticing a large group of people who were “screaming and yelling and scaring everybody,” Dailey said.

Dailey said “everybody was getting uncomfortable” including himself and he became one of many who began moving away from them, Dailey said.

Dailey said his intention was to go underneath the tunnel and watch them from the other side of the street. But there was a problem.

There were about 40 people backed up in the tunnel, including a rowdy group that was “roughhousing in the center of the tunnel,” Dailey said.

it goes on. No context. No nothing. Cue the columnists about how it is our fault for not providing better schools, better housing, better jobs, better sidewalks, better parking.

You know the drill.
