So every once in a while, we have to ask: Is it us? Are we imagining all these stories about black violence and denial? And how do reporters keep getting not just these stories, but other stories so wrong so often?

Wow! And not a MAGA hat in sight. It took local news in Chicago a long time to figure it out, but the news today is that Jussie Smollett staged his own hate crime. Apparently he was angry about being written off the Empire show.

And now we wait for all the elected officials, movie stars, talking heads and even presidents to tell us why they were so eager to get sucked into just one more example of the Greatest Lie of our Generation: THE HOAX OF BLACK VICTIMIZATION.

Whenever a reporter covers a story of black violence and refuses to see a pattern, they call it random. Let’s see how that work and the damage it does.

Cops in Chicago pronounced the Jussie Smullett story a hoax, a fairy tale, a concoction just a few days after it was supposed to have happened.

But that did not matter: Reporters and public officials spread it around anyway. All the time ignoring black on white violence –and murder. Why don’t we take a look at some of the black on white murder in this country that happens every day, is ignored every day, while reporters chase their tales with Jussie’s stories of denial, deceit and delusion.
