Letter from London.
Dear Colin,
I’ve lived in north London (wood green) a very multicultural and diverse area of London all my life . I would like to note that wood green borders Tottenham (where the latest London riots occurred and where historically other riots have been). (i’m 25 now). I’m Anglo Indian (mum is Indian, dad is English)
I went to a catholic primary and secondary school. my secondary school (St Ignatius College in Enfield) was a fairly strict catholic all boys school (with former notable pupils such as world famous director Alfred Hitchcock and George Harrison , of Beatles fame).
My negative experiences in school were numerous. I was frequently bullied (mostly verbal and sometimes physically) for being Indian and English. i was called ‘paki’, ‘half breed’ ‘mongrel’. or call my dad on some occasions ‘pig’ ‘devil’. some of the perpetrators were white but the majority of the ‘gangs’ or ‘clicks’ and bullies were black (of Nigerian, Ghanaian, Afro Caribbean descent). I was set upon by three black boys from 2 years above, shoved against the fence while they frisked my pockets. I attempted to push them off but was hit several times. some of the black kids weren’t racist and would converse and befriend white/Asian people. but they mainly stuck towards their group and would fight against other blacks. I would also like to add i had some black friends at this point and they were on occasion victimized too.
The school I attended was very good in comparison to others in north London, the school was situated in Enfield and near Hertfordshire (which is a middle/upper class white area of London). A lot of children came from areas with a bad reputation: Edmonton (known at the time as shank town, because the number of stabbings and murders) wood green (known as hood green) and Tottenham.
About half the black pupils were ‘ghetto’ or ‘gritty’ (that’s what we term them, gritty or raw meaning they are hardened and accustomed to violence and willing). they came from broken backgrounds, and household’s where the father’s were absent.
The black youth in the united kingdom are heavily influenced by African american gangster culture, and this new ‘urban mindset’ is also being taken up as an identity by people of various ethnicity (especially white).
After the introduction of camera phones and once they became readily available, a trend began which became known as ‘happy slapping’. where members of the public or students were slapped for the entertainment of the group filming. the perpetrators were mostly black and the victims often white (there are still some videos available of this fad). As you know, in america this is known as sucker punching. my friend (at that time) was attacked by a group of black kids, knocked unconscious and robbed. thankfully, happy slapping has all but stopped, but may still go on in some places.
I was robbed in Tottenham on two occasions. the first time i was walking through to go to a friend’s house and was surrounded by 3 black men. i was 15 at the time and i believe they were 18 or 19. They knew who i was, they knew my friend (who was black) and where he lived.
The second time (I was 17) it was three of them and i was with another friend waiting for a bus on the main road. They came up to us and said : ‘what you got for me? Bud, if you move i’ll shank you’ (something similar to that), they then preceded to put a knife to my friend’s rib (my friend was Indian). i refused at that point but i didn’t want to see my friend stabbed or me for that matter, so i told them to take the phone but i’m keeping my sim card which they allowed. they also robbed another person at the bus stop who we knew. we called the police who had a specialized response team for robberies, they arrived after 2 mins and we searched the area but they weren’t to be found.
As for the burglaries:
In 2005. i was ill, we (my dad, brother and me) left the house to go to the supermarket to get medicine and a black man walked passed. thought nothing of it at this point (at this point i was not paranoid or distrusting of blacks) we came home and found the second the door slammed open. our play station 2 and around 40 games was missing, my brand new mp3 ( which was new and expensive) my Swiss army knife, my Xbox, money and jewelry was taken.
The first time was when i was a kid, my house was burgled while we were away on a family holiday. the neighbors ran after them (and told the police were black) but they got away.
My kitten was stuck up a tree (at the back of my garden there is a park) and they were taunting it with a pitbull (a black boy and a Turkish boy). my fences have also been kicked in, on two of those occasions the group were young black teens. the time my shed was set on fire a few years ago, i’m assuming the perpetrators were black because they were in the park before it happened
There is no doubt, that although blacks do commit crimes on other blacks that they perpetrate, target other races specifically. it would interest you to view the murder statistics and the shocking amount of white victims in the u.k (you’re well aware of that). black people seem to target other races, specifically white. it’s in their nature to macho and to prove something.
Claiming racism and playing the race card, citing white privilege as if it’s any easier for whites or any other minorities.
The media seem to bury the truth of these matters to promote diversity and racial harmony.
When the London riots occurred, the black community blamed the ‘racist’ police force for racial profiling. yet black men/ young adults are 6 times more likely to commit violence or robbery in London. THAT is a fact. Mark Duggan was shot, the protest turned into a full blown riot. Mark Duggan was monitored for years by a specialized police force that targeted gun crime. he was shot after having a gun in possession. he was part or the leader of a notorious gang in broad water farm (where riots occurred earlier and where it’s a no go area), the riots caused complete social disorder and huge amount of damage and some deaths (70% of the rioters were black).
The murder of Steven Grisales occurred a few weeks after the riots.. i knew Steven, i wasn’t good friends with him, but he attended my school and was my close friends friend. he came back to England after living in Argentina. he got a scholarship for architecture. a group of kids were throwing conkers at people, when one hit him he told them to stop. a fight happened, he floored one and defended himself. He was stabbed in the heart and died a few days later. the killer was Ochaine Wiliams, who was 15 at the time and was on a electronic tag. he was only in a youth offenders prison a few months prior to the murder. he had an extensive rap sheet of crimes that he committed. i was working so i couldn’t attend the trial, but some of my friends were there. it was disclosed that Ochaine and his gang used to knock on peoples door, when they would answer the gang would run into the house (reminds me of a clock work orange) rob and beat them. he even attacked his mum with a shovel. Ochaine Williams was given 12 years in prison….. he would be 27 when he’s out, where as Steven was only 21- a good person with a future.
My cousin was also kidnapped and held to ransom in a car outside my house. the members were formerly a part of a gang called the wood green mob (money or bitches) their ‘music’ is available on YouTube if you want to suffer it. my cousin owed them a debt of £200 for years and they decided to add interest to the tune of £900. i had to go and get the money. they let him go after i paid him. (years before they went prison, my cousin wasn’t there to pay the £200 back so they terrorized my nan’s house asking for money and threatened my family and called them paki’s and towel heads. they also used terms such as ‘white boy, pigs, ghosts, crackers’ to my white uncles (who are married to my Indian aunties).
Pupils from st Thomas Moore in wood green robbed people frequently , in one occasion my mum saw one slap an old (white) pensioner and ran off with her bag.
A night club owner in Brixton was in the papers for banning black men because they caused most of the trouble even though the owner is black, they were accused of racism.
Most of than gangs in London are black : north London Somalis, Woolwich boys (with links to Islamic extremism), the wood green mob, peckham boys, Edmonton’s green gang, there are literally thousands in London. The crime rate is much more proportionally higher for the black community.
This has all been buried for the sake of political correctness.
I have heard the excuses of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, divide or conquer or imperialism or oppression causing the state of black america. my opinion is that’s it’s pure bullshit. furthermore, Britain never had slavery (although they may have funded it) Jim Crow, segregation etc yet we still have the same problems within the black community.
