When I wrote the first edition of this book, I had no idea how I was going to get people to read it.
But thanks to a lot of great people, brave people, this book touched a lot of lives around the world. Becoming an Amazon #1 Best Seller.
Without racism. Or rancor. Or apologies.

First, Joseph Farah, the bravest man in America, for demanding we tell the truth.
For my brother John Dennis, who invited me to co-host his show at WDEL in Wilmington, Delaware. It was there I first saw the enormous gap between what the newspapers were saying about black mob violence, and what I saw on YouTube.
For Al Mascitti, a talk show host at WDEL and the smartest liberal in America. Without his permanent denial, I would not have written this book. He showed me this story had to be told.

Being the police in Chicago is like getting a Phd in sociology – without the brainwashing. We see the dark side and revel in the pantomime as only a street cop can. The drug abuse, the anxiety, the stress, the tensions, the racial bigotry of the “underserved” communities, the failures of the entitlement state. We can step back and wallow in our “white privilege” and know that the only “white privilege” out there is getting the first move in Chess. The Great Society programs have done so much damage to the family, to education and to the ability of blacks to stand on their own two feet that it’s hard to cast a jaundiced eye at the future and say,”I give up.” Years ago I made a bet with a militant black officer (sorry to be redundant) in that I would buy him dinner at his choice if he could show me a case report of a white offender with a black victim. After 10 years he still couldn’t do it because it was an easy bet. I read “Zebra” – about the SF racial murders in the early 1970’s and it opened my eyes as to why a significant portion of black America is in continual angst mode. Read “White Girl Bleed A lot” if you dare – if you dare to have your eyes opened and your heart prepared to hear the bloody truth. God bless Colin for his fortitude, strength and courage. May more in the MSM follow his lead and speak what dare not be spoken.
