Anyway, here is a letter and a screen shot I received today:
“I just tried to access one of your links, and the Davidson County (N.C.) Public Library is again blocking your website for reasons of violence, intolerance and extremism. This time I’m sending you the jpg of the screen.”
Thanks … i”ll message the folks at Davidson County and see what they have to say.

Censoring WGBAL is the rankest hypocrisy from a library. The American Library Assoc supports the open access and viewing of pornography in public libraries:

The Tribune is reporting that the American Library Association
(A.L.A.) supports the stance of the OPPL Board of Trustees. The ALA’s
position is that a public library that does not allow an adult visitor
to view pornographic photographic stills or videos on a public computer
risks being sued.
Anderson quoted Barbara Jones, ALA’s Office for Intellectual Freedom
(OIF). “It’s up to the library to provide as much as possible so people
can learn to think critically about what is out there… If they don’t
agree with it, they can go on to another (Internet) page.”

Just to further emphasize the hypocrisy, here is an excerpt from the ALA’s response to the Examiner story:

access to information protected by the First Amendment. It is for this

information.”

intolerant? you bet i am intolerant! since they are not, that means they endorse. this is so ovious. being banned is good, you are revealing the truth. they revealed their true colors.
North Carolina wants their tax paying citizens to become victims of rape, robbery, and murder. North Carolina wants more Ray Widstrands, Paul DeWolfs, and victims of the Knockout Game.
Maybe the library admins are busily recording Knockout Game assaults.
But I don’t want anybody to be victimized by black violence, and so I hope everybody buys a copy of WGBAL for a friend.
