Letter from Ridley Park
Hi Colin,
I have both your books. My sons works at a Metro Store, they taught him to replace the screens on cellphones. He posted a cellphone on offer up for sale.
Being a dumb white kid he drove down to Ridley Park around the 200 block of West Chester pike, to met someone to sell the phone.
The guy jumped in the car beat my son with a crowbar, stole the phone and tried to take his car, the seat beat was the only thing that kept my son in the car. My son was able to put the car in gear and make it to a local diner.
The Stargate diner people took care of my son till the ambulance took my son to Crozer Chester where he required four sets of staples to get his head wounds closed and many stitches in his hands.
The detectives took a report, my son furnished the name and Facebook account, Instagram, offer up and let-go account.
The guy posted the phone less that an hour later. After two days of calling and leaving many messages I talked to the chief of Ridley Park police, who told me it could take months to work on resolve this if any thing comes of it. Then he hung up on me!! What advice can you give me to pursue this and see that this person does not kill someone else.
