Letter from Niagara Falls.
Hi,
Thanks Colin you’re bringing attention to this problem.
I went to a mixed school we had black and white students at Niagara Falls High School. I seen a lot of racism in my time there and it was always the black students.
Many of the black students would address the white students as white boy and or white girl.
Colin can you imagine the backlash a white student would have faced if he referred to a black student as black boy! Many of the black students would harass the teachers as well it was almost always excused.
They would get away with much worse and rowdy behavior and yes racist behavior, but they were always the first to cry racism and victimhood.
The most shocking part of the situation was that all these students had to do was cry racism and the teachers would roll over. It was like a get out of jail free card. It wasn’t all the black students but most which would play the victim card.
I will tell you Colin 99% of the whites in our school showed nothing but acceptance and respect for the black students whether it was returned or not.
