Letter from Memphis

Dear Colin Flaherty,

I was watching your video, “Black People Attacking Handicapped, Disabled, Sick & Blind Victims (Colin Flaherty Compilation #9)”, when I heard you mention that you are working on a new book and want to hear people’s stories. I have a few experiences I can relate; they are not headline news but do provide some insight to black mob violence.

In 1974 I was one of the first students to be bussed in an effort to integrate public schools in Memphis, Tennessee. I was in the eighth grade, we were twenty white kids, and about 800 blacks. I walked down the hall to class one day surrounded by blacks and one of them tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around and it was complete stranger. He hit me in the nose, then I wrestled him to the ground and kept him there until a teacher arrived. We went to the principal’s office over it. Another time, black female students surrounded me and stole my Mu Alpha Theta fund raising candy. I had to come up with $20 out of my own money – not easy on an allowance of 45 cents per week. Both of these incidences have something in common: I am surrounded by blacks and there are no other whites.

When I was in the Navy, I was cleaning up the black section of our crew’s compartment. It was 9:00 pm, lights out, and I got ready to leave. Suddenly something slammed into the side of my head. I was dazed and stumbled for a half a minute. When I came to, I found a shoe brush on the floor that someone had used to hit me. One of my friends in the adjacent compartment said it was so loud, he thought a locker had fallen. The blow had been hard enough to make my ear bleed. It was just a few drops of blood, and the hospital corpsman could not even put a band aid on it because of the ear’s curvature. I asked him if I had a concussion and he shook his head, “No, you don’t have a concussion.” An investigation was made, but there was not enough evidence to prosecute anyone. Again, I’m surrounded by blacks, no whites, and someone takes a swing at me.

Just to be clear, this happened around 1985 when the Military was fully integrated. The compartment was all black because of their own preference. After this incident, the division officer imposed a sleeping chart so that the distribution of sailors had to be more diverse.

Around 2009 I was working on a Bachelor’s of Arts in German. At one point I worked two part-time jobs, one in the morning, one at night, and went to class in between. It’s past 10:00 pm at night and I’m finally catching the bus from downtown St. Paul to go home. Everyone on the bus is black, except me. You guessed it – a black teenager comes up to me and tells me to move over so he can sit next to me. I tell him to sit somewhere else, I’ve been working all day; I’m tired; there are plenty of other seats. He replies, “Let me sit next to you or I’ll hit you.” I defiantly tell him to go ahead and stare him in the eye. When the vehicle approaches to the next bus, I see his muscles tense up. The bus driver called the police and they took the videotape of the incident from the bus. ( In retrospect, I should have put my hands in front of my face to protect myself. I was lucky I didn’t lose a tooth.)

These four experiences all have one thing in common. A white person is surrounded by blacks and one of them takes a swing at him. If a person like me can see a pattern of black mob violence in his individual life, then surely cops, sociologists, newspaper reporters and elected officials can see it with even more certainty. But if one searches the internet to find data or academic research on it, there is nothing there.

You showed in one of your videos where a white male is assaulted by two black men, but there were seven blacks present at the scene. The news reporter stated that it was an assault by only two people, but you argued that if there were seven people there then seven people were involved. I’ll back you 100% on that. The behavior of a large group of blacks is much more dangerous than a mixed racial group or an individual. There ought to be a bumper sticker that says, “See black mob violence.”

In the newspapers and on TV news, the problem with black violence is ignored or artfully covered up. Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown appear to be isolated events, and political groups may claim that the police or even the victim are at fault. These political groups ignore the fact that there is another 99% of the problem below the radar; it does not show up on the nightly news but it is just as significant. For every headline news item, such as Alex Wroblewski, the bartender who was killed, there are a thousand smaller crimes like assault, theft, robbery, and vandalism.

For every one of these crimes, there are another thousand even smaller hostile events: profanity in public places, trespassing at Starbucks, talking too loud at the library, leaving the trash on busses. A thousand times a thousand is one million, so there are one million hostile acts for every headline news item. For every Alex Wroblewski, there are another one million blacks involved hostile acts against whites. I call this the iceberg principle, because just like an iceberg is mostly below the water, 99.9999% of the racial conflict does not make the news. This is why so many people do not believe there is a problem with black violence or that it’s an unimportant statistic.

Where do these one million hostile acts come from? There is a society that creates them and your videos document that society perfectly. “Beautiful day in the neighborhood at Subway,” is one of my favorites. It ought to be given to college students as an assignment, “Compare and contrast the 1960’s lifestyle of Mr. Rogers with the high tech, high efficiency life we see in the Subway. Which situation seems more civilized and why?” Videos like this depict the culture that creates black criminality and your interviews explain the hows and whys of it.

Lastly, here is an e-mail I recently sent to the MetroTransit Police in St. Paul. More than anything it shows the types of ordinary conflicts faced by thousands of people thousands of times each day.

The library I describe is across the parking lot from the Sunray Transit Station.

This incident occurred at the Sunray Library at about 4:50 pm, Sunday, Aug 20, 2017, just a block away from the Sunray Transit Station.

To begin, I saw the recent attack on the bus driver on route 70. I think it was Friday, Aug 18, or maybe Aug 11. A black, male teenager threw a chicken nugget at him and then shoved a shopping cart at him. The driver shoved the cart back. Another driver called the police. My route home was delayed a half hour, because the Transit Supervisor decided we needed a new bus driver.

Ever since then, I can’t go through Sunray without seeing police cars. It has become much safer there. I remember a month or so ago, two black teenagers were pretend fighting and came within a half inch of hitting me in the face. Ever since then, if they are pretend fighting, I wait for my bus on the opposite side of the street from the main stop.

I hope the police can address this problem of pretend fighting, or mock melees, that are so popular with this ethnic group. Certainly, the teenagers don’t engage in this behavior when the cops are around, but at the neighboring library they become somewhat of a nuisance.

Only two days after black teenagers picked a fight with the bus driver, there was more misbehavior at the library.

A group of black teenagers were giving their female librarians a hard time. When, I first arrived about 4:35 pm, the young, white librarian approached the teenagers to say, “I already told you once . . . ” She approached them a short time later to repeat the same routine again. Finally, on or about 4:50 pm , Sunday, Aug 20, 2017, one of the black teen females yelled out a sentence containing five or six vulgar words. It was extremely obscene and extremely loud. It could be heard from one end of the building to the other. That was really an incident for the police to deal with. As it was, the administrators did not react, and the building closed at 5:00 pm.

I have to wonder if some of the recent anti-social behavior at the bus stop has transferred to library. However, even before recent events at the bus stop, disruptive black teenagers were giving the Sunray librarians a difficult time.

I’m sorry I’m late turning this in. I just started a new job on a night shift with a long commute. Most days, I don’t even have time to turn on my computer.

The workers at Sunray are wonderful people (mostly). They are usually hospitable, professional, and friendly to all their patrons. They may decide that the facility performs well enough, and they don’t need police assistance. On the other hand, they might appreciate it if you dropped by and told them you are in the neighborhood.

The library does a lot of favors for black people. They provide services for immigrants, Muslims, African Americans, etc.. But, when you do a favor for anyone they just keep expecting more out of you. Some of these patrons may be taking too much advantage of the Sunray’s hospitality.

The police might want to check in on the Library sometime, just to make sure no one is shouting obscenities across the building. You might remind the staff that a police car is often less than a block away, just in case they need assistance.

The videos at public institutions here are usually erased after about three weeks. I sent the e-mail a month after the incident to protect the librarian involved. I didn’t want her to get in trouble for not following rules.

Ever since I sent that e-mail the library has become, well, more like a library. Adults are not practicing their Somalian speaking skills, their children are not running around, it no longer resembles a day care center. The librarian that was originally part of the incident even seemed to gain some status.

As you say in your recent video “Chicago: Three dead white dudes must have made the fellas really mad”, the official statistics say crime is down, but the violence and brutality are worse than ever. The Hillary Clintons of this world may think black on white violence is just so many numbahs, but the librarians at Sunray, myself, and countless others know that the problem runs deeper.

Letter From Denver.

Good day Colin,

I greatly appreciate what you are doing and I have been a subscriber for some time, the double standard must be exposed and confronted. Thank you for reaching out and extending the opportunity to tell my story:

I do not consider myself nor have I really ever had feelings of racism towards blacks, growing up in the USA and coming from a Christian family racism was not acceptable form of worldview. I never had any blacks, (Mexicans everywhere) within a 5 mile vicinity growing up in rural New Mexico. I had no childhood traumas involving blacks, in fact the first time I heard rap music I was instantly a fan at 11 years old listening to the Beastie Boys. I have a fondness for Brooklyn NY music though I have never visited, my Grandfather on my moms side is from Brooklyn and he was a vocal racist of blacks, he was a loud Irishman and embarrassed us.

I could sympathize with blacks being a minority when I moved to El Paso, TX and took the lifestyle as far as I could, basketball and rap music late 90’s early 2000’s.Though our high school had very few blacks one of the friends withing my circle was black but more subdued not a gangster. Naturally when I moved to Denver to pursue my semi-black aspirations of creating rap music and playing basketball, involving myself with the black community was a probability.

My first experience I was selling dime bags in Civic Center Park downtown Denver, the local gang leader was a Mexican female, she sent a group of 3 black hoodlums to chase me down as a punishment for working in her turf. I managed to evade this attempt at my life by running faster than I have ever run in my life.

Maybe a year later, I was playing basketball when the local tough guy at the 20th Street Gym, downtown Denver he went by “Red” he was half-black or yellow asked me to meet him downtown in an hour to buy something, he claimed to be a “Street Pharmacist” and we were gonna trade or something. We met outside of Planet Smoothie, he told me what he needed I went into the bathroom to facilitate the transaction. When I came out the Planet Smoothie, the same 3 black guys who had chased me a year or more earlier were there; I was punched, kicked and beaten for several minutes. I was screaming for help, finally they decided to stop and they all ran off. I picked myself up off floor, washed my face, saw my face and went to find help.

The girl who was working at the Planet Smoothie was hysterical, I didn’t want to get in trouble for what was in my backpack. I walked until I found some cops on 16th St. reported what had occurred and was met with the reality that I didn’t have any evidence of who attacked me besides the vague description of 3 black youths wearing hoodies, sneakers and the damage done to my face.

The third attack happened some 5-6 years later. I was walking alone to my car after a night of partying and drinking approximately 2:00am in the 5points area near downtown, the area is known for crack. 3 black youths (not the same black youths from my previous story) approached me, 2 were smoking cigarettes, I stupidly asked for a cigarette, the kid motions for me to come closer to him and he squats down like he is getting his cigarettes from his sock, I move closer and he immediately jumps up and uppercuts me in the jaw. Somehow I was not very dazed by the punch and I was able to remove myself and run to safety, they initially pursued me but then they trailed off a few blocks away.

I no longer live in Denver, I am back in El Paso. I know you will probably not be able to broadcast my example because of the drug content, which in my opinion should not be ignored. There are black drug gangs who target people, I was a target. They keep score over long periods of time and don’t forgive or pardon even minor infractions.

Letter from Kansas City.

Hi Colin,

I just recently moved from Denver to Kansas City MO so I have not been sending you much or even been able to keep up really.

My wife is a elementary school teacher and is currently a substitute (couldn’t get full time this year) at 3 KC districts on the north side of KC. Today she went to orientation for North Kansas city school district and what she was told was amazing to me. She can not respond to verbal threats and can never leave the room unattended for any reason.

One teacher has already had both elbows broken in a fight this year. The other 2 districts are not like this but I’m sure the Mayor is responsible for this. I told her to sh*t can this district and concentrate on the others,more white people there.

I just showed her your 2 most recent videos on teachers and wanted her to give me more info but she is worried about them finding out where it came from. I wish she could have recorded the lecture, put it this way, it’s worse than even we know. Even at one of the whiter schools last week she only had 2 black girls in the class.

Guess who caused the trouble? One tried to say she needed to change buses with a poorly written note from her mom and she (wife) told the little girl that she would have to call her mom to confirm. The little black girl threatened her that if she did her mom would call someone and get her in trouble if she did. Her mom was sleeping she said. All I could say is wow.

Denver is one of those places I love to talk about, always asking this question: did you know Denver is the site of regular and intense black mob violence?

Everyone shakes their head no.

But it is.

Black Mob Violence at Carnivals.

I just finished a radio show where I promised I would post an excerpt from my upcoming book on black mob violence at fairs and carnivals.

The daughter of the host was a victim of black mob violence at a county fair over the weekend.

Some earlier episodes of black mob violence at county fairs, Memorial Day picnics and Fourth of July celebrations is also covered in White Girl Bleed a Lot.

So without further ado:

Racial Mayhem at Carnivals:

Cotton Candy and Black Mob Violence

Every discussion of the epidemic of black mob violence at carnivals and fairs should begin with two words: Lori Lavorato.

We have already met her in this book, but she is worth remembering again because she was fired for telling the truth about racial violence at the Iowa State Fair.

But that was so long ago: Beat Whitey Night 2011 is now just a distant memory. Let’s flash forward to more than a dozen, more recent examples of black mob violence at fairs and carnivals all around the country, starting in Hampton, Virginia 2013.

Over Memorial Day weekend, five people were shot, one died, and two have been arrested for murder following an outbreak of black mob violence at the Hampton Coliseum Spring Carnival.

The shooting happened on Saturday night, the third day of the event, while police were in another part of the fairgrounds trying to quell a different case of black mob violence, one of several prior to the killing, some involving 50 to 100 people.

Officials cancelled the remainder of what was scheduled to be a 10-day affair. This was not the first episode of shooting or mob violence at the Fair: Last year, shots were fired but no one was killed.

As is often the case, the readers tells the story the reporters cannot. Or will not.

“Every year this carnival attracts thugs and every year it is a breading ground for violence,” said a reader of the Daily Press in Hampton. “Children want to attend the carnival and the low-lifes in this area are drawn to it for some reason. I would LOVE to be able to bring my children to the carnival but it’s just not safe.

And oh yeah, its been happening here a long time.

Some complained that anyone drawing attention to the fact that the fighters, the shooters, and the people shot were all black is racist: “A mother and father have lost their child, a sibling has loss his brother and the only thing some of you racist people can only say is negative things.”

Notice the script flip: The victims are now the predators. And the predators? All of a sudden they are the victims.

Nice.

You have to decide, right here. Right now. That you are not going to let people do that anymore.

Are you in?

Others hoped that if the paper ignored the violence — including the racial aspect of it — that would Hampton a better place: “It is probably a good idea for the daily papers to avoid writing about this nonsense and inform the community on positive attributes going on other places.”

Which how newspapers all around the country put their readers in danger they had no idea even existed.

Hampton is 30 miles from Virginia Beach, where just a few weeks before, 40,000 black people rampaged through the beach town on a Saturday night, destroying property and creating violence.

On the other side of the state in Roanoke, the Drew Expo 2012 was forced to close their carnival early after it was the scene of black mob violence involving 500 people both in and out of the fair. No arrests were made. The Expo went off in 2013 with large-scale police presence that prevented large scale violence that city officials said would cause them to abolish the Expo if it happened again.

In the Detroit metro area, black mob violence struck at least three carnivals in May 2013. In Westland, according to ClickonDetroit.com:

“Police say more than 100 teenagers — mostly boys — started a fight during the Westland Firefighters Charity Fund Carnival. It happened in a shopping center parking lot where the violence got so out of hand that it spilled over to neighboring businesses”

Two weeks later at the St. Mary’s Polish Country Fair in neighboring Orchard Lake, hundreds of black people fought and destroyed property during the festival.

Eddie Kulczyk said he “saw the video on clickondetroit.com. Of all of the fights, definitely didn’t look like they were Polish people causing the trouble.”

“It seems that every community has the same issue,” said Westland city councilman Bill Johnson. “It’s just not safe.” He called for a ban on the carnival.

In Taylor, another suburb of Detroit, several fights broke out at the Gibraltar Trade Center carnival at the beginning of May. Several people reported hearing gun shots but the police chief denied anything like that happened.

“My daughter and her friends went to this carnival and I heard someone was stabbed along with gunshots fired, they were running into the building to get away from them,” said Teresa Lynne J. In the comments section of the News Herald.

“My son was there and he said that there was also gunfire and that he and his girlfriend were running for their lives!,” said another parent.

“Numerous people have posted hearing gunshots, as well as having family working at Heritage Hospital, and reporting how busy they were due to the fight at GTC,” posted another reader. “So, to say no one was injured, I believe is a complete falsehood, and a case of the mayor trying to cover how dangerous it really is there.”

The State Fair that probably got the most attention for racial violence was Milwaukee in 2011. Hundreds of black people roamed in and out of the fairgrounds, beating up white people at will.

Which was not too much different that what 50-100 black people did just three weeks before when they looted a Milwaukee convenience store, then, two blocks away, assaulted several people on an Independence Day holiday picnic.

“White Girl Bleed a Lot,” said one of the attackers, standing and laughing over her victim.

Milwaukee is also the site of frequent and intense black mob violence at the Juneteenth festivals, local malls and even St. Patrick’s day parades.

The newspapers and local TV news rarely identify the culprits by race. But this time, they had little choice: The people on the 911 calls sure did. Here are a few: Milwaukee State Fair 911 calls:

The editors at the local paper promised they would get to the bottom of it: “This is our fair, a showcase and celebration of the state, and reports of African-American teenagers randomly beating up white fair-goers – similar to attacks last month in the Riverwest neighborhood – are shocking. We simply can’t let this happen again. ”

That turned out not to be true.

But 2011 was such a long time ago. Let’s get back to 2014, April in Wyoming, Michigan. The local press called it a brawl. Victims called it assault.

“I was yelling, ‘Please stop, please leave me alone.’ If you watch the video, you can hear me screaming for my life,” one victim said to Wood TV 8.

The victim’s mother saw it on video. She did not call it brawl: “The victim’s mother Janice said she was surprised her daughter survived after watching the video. “They were stomping her like a piece of meat, and you can hear the laughter and the excitement. And she wasn’t the only victim that night,” she said. “I had to ask myself how she lived through it.”

Good question. But no one connected to her daughter’s beating was arrested. So we will never know. But some of the locals know one thing that the press there will never say:

“This was Beat Whitey Night, just like the Wisconsin State Fair or the Denver Attacks or the Atlanta attacks or the Philadelphia attacks or the attacks at the Ohio State Fair….The video shows the race of the perps.”

Over in Sandusky, Ohio, home of the Cedar Point amusement park, police arrested 16 black people in June of 2014 for having a riot — not in the park, but in their living spaces after the park was closed.

Charged with aggravated rioting were Lawanda, Cashia, Laon, Marquise, Kyreese, Dajon, Ja’Quan and a few others.

Just a few weeks before, a mob of 50 to 100 black people rampaged through the annual Football Fair in Pennsville, New Jersey.

They beat parents, they beat kids, they beat coaches. They destroyed property. And attacked police too.

Two cops ended up in the hospital, and seven people were arrested. Some on video.

And a local reporter called the Willie Shields talk radio show on WLVT radio to complain that I had injected raced into it. When race had nothing to do with it, he said.

Willie handled it.

We don’t have to worry abut that.

Florida State Fair in Tampa

Same old same old.

As black mob violence at carnivals go, the 2014 racial mayhem at the Florida State Fair in Tampa was not that big of a deal.

Sure hundreds of black people creating mayhem. On video. Police were attacked. Property destroyed. Fair-goers beaten. Venders assaulted. Cell phones stolen. An old lady in a wheelchair robbed. People jumping fences and refusing to pay for rides. The fair closed early. And most of the media glossed over most of it.

Despite the fact that officials even said they even expected it.

The local daily paper in Tampa carried a story about a Trayvon Martin commemoration rally in Miami — his birthday was over the weekend — but nothing about the widespread racial violence at the Fair in its own backyard.

Like most of the examples from the previous chapter, the local media in Tampa reported the violence piecemeal: Some said it was just a few teens fighting. Others reported the violence in greater detail: hundreds of teens attacking police, fair-goers and workers. But absent one fact: The central organizing feature of the crowd committing the mayhem. They were black.

Many people who attended the fair noticed the omission, and thought it important enough to let others know too:

“The article failed to mention all the facts: Black males were the ones starting and committing the crimes,” said Annie Penn at the message board of the local ABC affiliate in response to it story. “I was there!”

Another fair-goer filled in a few more blanks for the ABC story:

“This is a lie,” said Jamie Piaskowski about the sanitized version of the story. “I was there in the midst of it all. The carnies had to move tables to protect their vendor trailers and people. There was more than a few kids. This was a few hundred kids in a mob mentality. It was a very dangerous situation. It makes me sick to see the news and the police whitewash this.”

Ever get the impression the natives are getting restless?

The mayhem at the Florida State Fair started out on a Friday with free tickets for students day. By evening, assaults and property damage were breaking out all over the fairgrounds.

David Donohue contacted WTSP news after he saw the other news reports because he wanted people to know what really happened was more than just a few fights. “We were standing in front of a ride when all of a sudden a rush came by and I got knocked up against a booth,” Donohue said.

His two children described how they were punched in the face, pushed down, and stepped on. “They trampled me,” said Mason Donohue, “then another guy came and stomped on my chest.”

Sheriff deputies ejected 99 people for fighting. The Tampa Bay Times reports deputies were outnumbered and overwhelmed. “Approximately 200 deputies could not handle the chaos, sheriff’s officials said. A commander with 30 years of experience, Maj. Tom Feeney, said it’s the worst thing he has seen in law enforcement.”

One deputy was trying to break up a fight when the crowd turned on him. “Several juveniles jumped on him,” the police spokesman told WTSP. “They were stealing candy apples from concession stands and throwing them at our deputies.”

Three hours after the 99 “teens” were kicked out, one of the them was killed trying to cross a nearby interstate freeway. And now, we learn from the Sheriff’s Department, that violence at the fair is something they expect because it happens so much.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that the person who died was “Andrew Joseph III, one of 99 people ejected that day, which is not uncommon on the first Friday of the fair,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Debbie Carter. “There are usually a lot of young high school kids that start fights with each other and cause problems.”

Usually? This is the first time at the Florida State Fair that officials have ever said violence was a regular problem they could predict.

Maybe next year they can sell tickets.

And oh yeah, that has been happening here a long time.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that next year, the sheriff’s department is going to notify the several black groups including the NAACP that violence and theft and mayhem was not acceptable at the state fair.

The newspaper did not say why the sheriff’s department singled out black groups.

Denver black mob crime wave. From Fox 31 in Denver:

Police issued a crime alert Monday for 4-5 suspects who are on a major crime spree in Denver. Officers are looking for any information that might lead them to the suspects.

Investigators say the males have committed at least 12 street robberies at gunpoint,  two store robberies at gunpoint and one carjacking between January 24 and February 10. They committed five robberies in one day on January 29.

There are 18 robberies in all. So far.

Pictures say what the media and police won’t.
