Can someone please explain this to me?

Apparently, begging for mercy is not an optimal strategy.

Here’s a story only few have told: The enormous amount of black mob violence ON VIDEO on buses and subways around the country.

I have a chapter on it in White Girl Bleed a Lot. But I only covered a small percentage of the violence.
