Hi Colin,

I am reading “Don’t Make the Black Kids Angry”.

Thank you! Thank you very much sir.

I remember hearing on the news, when the idiot Emanuel Cleaver said, said, “All we are going to do is make a lot of black kids angry” I thought, what the hell?! Really?

Still, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with our country. Something I couldn’t quite articulate, something under-the surface nagging at me. Am I a racist? It this my fault? No, how can that be? I was confused, and conflicted.

After chapter one, now I know, and this is why I say thank you.

Thank you for bringing to my conciseness the truth. Not with bombast, not with yelling louder than anyone else. What you have done is document facts, proof, irrefutable and overwhelming evidence of what is, and has been going on. I am a software engineer. I troubleshoot complex software systems for a living. I like facts. I like proof. I like evidence. My mind is at peace now, thank you for showing me the truth.

I am a 50-something year old, white male, and a veteran.

I grew up in New York (Long Island), a white neighborhood. Even as kids in the 70’s, we knew not to go into certain black neighborhoods in Freeport NY, the town next over, because if we did, we would get our *sses beat. Simple as that. It was understood. It was just a known fact of life growing up. Today, I googled Freeport violence, well guess what, “This has been going on for a long time…”, forty years by my count.

My emotions while reading the book are mostly anger. Anger at the political enablers, angry that teachers and police are being victimized. I am also saddened. There is so much, over and over, on and on. The book is really hard to take, I had to put it down for a few days.

The answer to your question who is worse, the enablers or the people committing the crimes is easy for me. The political and media enablers are far worse. THEY are the one who should be protecting the crime victims, not enabling thugs and criminals.

I currently live in Cary, NC. Here is my amazing coincidence! I could hardly believe it (heard that before 🙂 Two days after I read the section about “Courageous Conversations”, the next Sunday paper, the headline, top-of-the-fold, main story, in the Raleigh News & Observer BY T. KEUNG HUI, “khui@newsobserver.com” Wake County schools call for ‘courageous conversation about race ’”http://www.newsobserver.com/news/local/education/article139937973.html (the web article was published 21 Mar 2107, and published the physical Sunday paper on 18 Jun 2017).

Exactly as you said would happen. Un-f*cking-believable. But there it was, the Sunday paper, sitting on my kitchen table. At this time I must say thank you again! If I had not educated myself with the facts you present in “Don’t Make the Black Kids Angry”, I would have not given this article a second thought. I sure as hell will give this some thought now.

My children, girl 15, freshman in Cary HS, and son 11, middle school, both are in Wake County public schools. I will be having a conversation with my X-wife. I will give her a copy of “Don’t Make the Black Kids Angry”. She likes, facts, evidence, and proof, as well as I do. After that, I’ll be having my own conversation with our children.

Hi Colin,

Howard Stern – … My cousins went to school with him…

My grandparents lived a few houses down from his mom and dad’s house in Nassau County. Roosevelt Long Island NY. Howard and my cousins had a very tough time there. They were one of the only white families left in Roosevelt.

I remember sitting in the living room of my grandparents house the day after Martin Luther King was shot and having large rocks thrown threw the big front window almost hitting my brother and I. This was a long time ago.

I can’t imagine how bad it is there now with MS-13 now moving into many areas of Long Island. So yeah what the whole country is living through now. We lived it. Years and years ago.

We had metal detectors and cops at the entrance to many of the High Schools and that was 40+ years ago. Sad that the rest of the country is now living the nightmare.

You can never really get away from all the problems we now face these days no matter where you live but living a 4 hour drive from Montreal (Northeast US) with Moose sometimes in your front yard does help not to mention with hunting being a way of life, many locals up here are very well armed.

Colin,

I moved into a house in Poughkeepsie, NY. about 5 years ago. It’s a side by side 2 family. My immediate neighbor was a black absent father family. The place had potential and I set out to fix it up, inside and out. All out of pocket. Nice days I worked on removing all the broken furniture and trash scattered all about the yard, not so nice days I painted and repaired the inside.

After several months, I became disillusioned with the place and stopped my work. I fully intended to move. There was no such thing as a good night sleep. I was woken up nightly at all hours by horrific screaming cursing and physical battles. The mother of these 4 kids, 3 teens one toddler worked night shifts and left them unattended. God forbid I look out my window to see who was being assaulted, they would scream and threaten me to mind my business.

Drug use on the front porch, sidewalk covered in spit. Filthy language and lewd behavior. It was a living hell. All the while I looked for a place to move.

Colin they destroyed everything. I planted flowers in front of the house, they trampled them during fist fights. I was at my witts end. I prayed they would find a nice place to move to as they stopped paying their rent for many months. They got evicted spring last year. I have fixed this place and made it beautiful, it’s now quiet here. Gone are the days of screaming, smelling urine, shoveling feces from the backyard, picking up drug baggies, living in fear, sleepless nights, etc etc etc.

It took 6 months to make that apartment liveable again. The filth was unprecedented.

I came into it blind Colin, boy was I wrong. I am afraid of the violence they are capable of inflicting of fellow human beings.

Colin,

I saw you for the first time today on Youtube. I admire all of your journalism and facts. I’m from Upstate New York. Small town. Two black family’s out of population of around 4000.

I have worked in Albany N.Y. and Troy New York. I am an hour away. I was raised strict Catholic white girl. I will say my dad is a prejudice person. But I never agreed with him until. I was an adult on my own in the workforce.

Blacks treat us horrible in the two cities I mentioned. Don’t be out after dark for sure. The black crimes are some of the highest in our state in these Two Cities.

I have been spit at doors slammed in my face. Doors to stores you open for you and a rude black jumpstart the opportunity to try to intimidate you and walk in before you pushing you out if the way physically.

I have had blacks stand in front of my car at red lights and taunt me yelling white racial slurs. But let me tell you. If I did this back or Fed into any of it. I would be arrested. I feel like a victim just from these experiences.

We need more people like you with eyes wide open. No bulls*it.

I fear them even when I drive to my Cardiologist in Albany. Why do I have to suffer this anxiety to go to a doctors appt. It’s not right. The blacks don’t have to live in anxiety for their appts.

I have such a belief in every word you say. Is pure truth. Thank you I am happy I discovered your channel…
