Letter from a garage
Dear Colin,
Last year, in the heat of the summer, I opened my garage door to air it out. Neighborhood rules made us keep garbage cans in garage, out of sight, except for trash day. I’m bbq-ing, and drinking beer with friends, and forgot about garage door.
So, a few hours later, I remember, and go to close the door. There, in the middle of the street, is all my kids toys, bikes, etc…
The 3 HUD families that Obama put in my ALL oil and gas neighborhood were all outside, sitting in lawn chairs, in their front yards, drinking 40’s, enjoying their 7 day a week, non working lives.
All their kids had emptied my garage, and had everything out in the middle of the street playing with it. I was PISSED OFF. Those so-called parents just sat there, and watched their kids burglarize my garage, and NOT ONE OF THEM tried to stop their kids. I guess they figured I owe them. Not one parent said, :Hey son, don’t burglarize that garage, NO, they just sat there, and watched, waiting to call me a racist when I complained.
From the time the first HUD family came in, it was 11 months till I had to leave the neighborhood.
In 6 months, HUD homes were over 60% of the subdivision (due to oil and gas lay-offs) finally culminating in them shooting up my home. I couldn’t let you use my name back then, because of ongoing court stuff, but, I can now. When I complained about the weekly “Parole parties” they shot up my house with 180 rounds from an AK-47. I’m ashamed I moved. What I should have done was burn their homes, and shot them as they ran out, but, who wants to go to prison???
