Letter from an ATV victim.
Hi Colin,
10 black kids on atv’s surrounded my sister-in-law today calling her names and acting aggressive because she yelled at them for racing their atv’s up and down the street.
She was pushing her newborn around in a stroller when these kids were flying by at unsafe speeds. She has yelled at them before and has called the police. They keep doing it but today was different because she was surrounded and felt like she was in serious danger.
One of them apologized because she had a newborn but others said they didn’t have to apologize. She is very shaken up! She lives next door and now, my brother wants to sell the house and move. This is not a safe neighborhood and white people are definitely a minority.
I’ve watched through my window at the way some young black teens ride their bikes back and forth to stare at my sister-in-law when she mows the lawn.
Personally, I’ve been assaulted twice in my lifetime from black guys in the street… They all need Jesus and I’m no better than anyone else but this black mob violence needs to be honestly addressed from all levels of government and in the black churches.
I feel sorry for the normally integrated black people who just want to live their lives in peace. They feel a certain shame and feel like they have to be extra nice to make up for the barbaric ones.
