After I posted a few excerpts form Michelle Obama’s senior thesis at Princeton on my Facebook page, I heard from my old buddy from Newsweek:
“You are such an asshole,” quoth Jamie Reno.
The only rationale explanation is that someone hijacked former Newsweek reporter Jamie Reno’s email.
Or that Jamie was dipping into the sauce when this former Newsweek reporter saw a posting on my facebook page about Michelle Obama’s senior thesis.
Which I have tried to read several times. But, aside from the occasional complaint that the entire Princeton campus is racist, it reads like a lecture from Professor Irwin Corey.
But it is a precursor to the Critical Race Theory that is so popular today: Racism is everywhere. Racism is permanent. And lots of white people are not aware of it.
Saying you are not aware of it — or are not guilty of it — is the absolute surest way to know you are guilty of it.
Critical Race Theory is the most corrosive idea in the history of this country.
But Jamie Reno posted: “You are such an asshole.” And “get a life.”
Now you know where people get the crazy idea that liberal whack jobs drove Newsweek into the ground with relentlessly liberal reporting.
So here is what I told my old buddy Jamie Reno:
Regarding your comments about me posting an article about Michelle Obama’s senior thesis at Princeton, I remind you:
when someone presents an article and makes comments about it — as I did with Michelle Obama’s senior thesis — if other people disagree it is usual for them to say:
colin, here is why what she said is not racist.
or, colin, you have it wrong, that document is a fake.
or, colin, she recanted that.
or, colin, some idiot broke into my facebook page and is sending out stupid messages.
go,ahead, say anyone one of them if you can.

I recently commented on a blog post by Jamie Reno. He was upset that a pharmaceutical company removed a product [Bexxar] that successfully helped treat his lymphoma. Now – I work in the exact area of medicine that deals in an alternate, equally effective and more cost effective drug. What I posted, in a very straightforward and informative manner, was information that the removal of Bexxar isn’t a problem as there are suitable alternatives.
He responded by accusing me of being smug, and not providing evidence. So in my next post, I provided links to a number of peer-reviewed scientific papers that supported my claim.
This seemed to offend him further – I am not sure how as I didn’t attack him, my comments were largely neutral and informative, intending on giving appropriate information on how the drugs work and why the alternative medications are just as effective, but he removed my posts.
I invited him to email me, which, to his credit, he did. His response?
“You’re bad news. I don’t like you. ‘Nuff said. Please move on. Jamie”
I am still taken aback from his response. As an “award winning journalist”, and patient advocate who is “always on the lookout for new cancer treatments” – I thought he would actually be interested in new developments in science. At no moment was I inflammatory or accusatory.
As a seemingly influential journalist with a couple of books supporting cancer victims, he should feel responsible for reporting new developments in science and not sticking to his agenda of trying to bring back an expensive and outdated medicine that has been superseded – which is why GSK removed it in the first place!

The story about Michelle Obama’s racist thesis paper came out during the first presidential campaign yet no one cared. It just shows how pathetic our society has become. People need to wake up to these usurpers in office.
So ALL white people are unknowingly oppressing nonwhites? Funny, I thought most whites just wanted to be left alone, were busy working to pay bills, wanted less government in their lives, and that most whites were more concerned with their own lives and their own families than worrying about blacks or browns.
White people need to start sticking up and for each other…. Hire only white, vote only white, fire all blacks and replace with white. NEVER trust a black. Until the black community can rationally talk about the racism and crime that THEY commit- we can never have a real conversation to help the situation.
Fact is that blacks are the most racist group of people.
I don’t think most whites are going to wake up and unite, at least not here in America or Australia or Canada. In Europe, they are more taking a stand against the displacement and the nationalist parties are growing in power there. Whites there will take violently to the streets when it comes to government corruption or a threat directly in their face. Here in the US, most whites do nothing. They care more about watching the Super Bowl right now and seeing overpaid, thug alpha male black guys playing sports but they won’t do anything to stop the government tyranny or the mexican invasion or the black males doing the ‘knockout game’. White guys spend their time trying to help blacks, but whites never stop and think, “You know, these same nonwhites wouldn’t give a rat’s behind about us as we do about them.”

HEY BILL, you know this kind of thing does not bother me. i just think its important for people to see what reporters really think.
I understand. When somebody says something like that it upsets them when you smile at them and say thank you.
i never qualified my opinions. i have been called everything from “racist” to “islamohomophobicnaziwhowantstokill6millionjews”. the word “racist” should be dropped, also the word “bigot”. then a rational debate may take place, stressing the facts. the word “asshole” should be eliminated, as well as the old stand by’s “take your meds”-“get a life”. these phrases should not be allowed on forums. only issues should be discussed, & facts. (forgot to mention, i have been called “uneducated” “tea party”-yes i know the routine).
The term ‘racist’ was coined by communist Jew Trotsky (real name Bornstein) in an effort to guilt trip the white Russians into accepting communism over Russian nationalism.
