Colin, is it possible that some of those shootings could actually be staged events, and didn’t really happen. Case in point. The National Guard wife who defender herself form intruders who broke into her house. This is the case that I am talking about. You see a picture of wearing a maroon beret with a blue flash. Here is the problem. There are the Black Beret (which signified ranger at one time), the maroon beret (airborne), and the Green beret (Special Forces). Now they have the tan beret (which replaced the black beret for the Rangers).

So she is wearing a maroon beret with a blue flash, and she is in the national guard. You cannot wear a maroon beret with a blue flash simply because the maroon beret signifies airborne, while the blue flash signifies infantry. If she is in an National Guard infantry unit, then she would be wearing a black beret with a blue flash. If you look at her uniform closely, she doesn’t have an airborne insignia above her left pocket. That means that she is not airborne qualified and therefore she is unauthorized to wear the maroon beret. She is out of uniform simply because she is wearing a blue flash on a maroon beret, and she doesn’t wear the insignia for the national guard unit that she is in. In other words, she is out of uniform and in violation of military protocol. She is a fake. Just like Sergeant Burgdall was a fake. I know what I am talking about. I am retired military after 22 years of service, and I have warn the maroon beret, the green beret, and the black beret (after it signified infantry). I was Special Forces for six years. I am a life time member of the VFW, the Special Forces Association, as well as a life time member of the National Guard Association. Also, from what I saw, the blue flash that she was wearing was different then the blue flash that is on my black beret. The flash that my beret has has stars around the outside of it. If you want I will gladly show you what I mean.
