Letter from a gay native american in Kansas City.
Dear Colin,
I’m relatively new to your YouTube Channel and heard you ask for stories of Black on White/Asian/other crime… I fit the other.
Please don’t use any identifying information other than my first name as it is very common. Thanks. Now here’s my experience.
I’m a gay Native American and in 1989 – 1990. I moved to Shawnee Mission, Kansas for a job in Overland Park. Both very nice and very safe areas, also at the time very white.
Well, I wasn’t aware that the company that had moved me out there was planning on closing that office within six months. So, that left me without a job.
The next job I got required me to move to Kansas City, Mo. I looked and looked for the “Safest” area I could find, which even back then that was hard.
Well I settled on an area and in time made friends with my neighbors. One was a white girl who dated a black man. (I’ll call her Chantel (she turned out to be a stripper and was giving him most of her money.)
She had a little girl by this black man and since I was close with the mother and gave the baby presents the black guy pretended to like me.
Well, I had then befriended another white woman who dated black men (I’ll call her Windy). She was one of my supervisors at work. She fell on hard times and she and her 3 boys by black men who weren’t around or helping her at all, needed a place to stay so I let them stay with me for a brief period.
Big mistake, she was a slob and her children monsters, so I made them leave after only a few weeks. She also got fired from her job (I found out later) for stealing, she also stole from me, one of the reason I made her move out.
She moved in with Chantel. I warned Chantel that Windy had a habit of stealing and that was both the reason for her losing her job and me asking her to move out.
Well, low and behold some gold jewelry that I gave to Chantel’s baby, ( I’ll call her Tasha) Well, Windy blamed me for stealing the jewelry. I told Chantel to think about it why would I steal jewelry from a baby, that I gave to that baby? She was reasonable about it, but her black boyfriend chose to believe Windy, because I was gay so I must have been guilty (even though he told me to my face he believed me.)
So a few days go by and I’m alone in my house it’s about 2 a.m. and I’m sleeping with my doors locked, but Chantel had a key for emergencies, when all of a sudden I have 4 black men with bats beating. All I could do was grab the pillow and cover my face. They beat me for about 4-5 minutes then ran away. I mean they disappeared from the area. I had no clue where any of them lived. I called the police.
Since they apparently had a key to get in there was no breaking and entering and since I could only identify one of them, but only by his thug name, there wasn’t much they could do.
They questioned Chantel and she said her boyfriend was out of town and couldn’t be involved. Well needless to say, I moved back to South St. Louis, Mo. and to this day none of them have been punished for their part in beating me. I was lucky that I just ended up with a bunch of bruises as I slept with several heavy blankets on my bed, otherwise I would have sustained much worse injuries.
Now I don’t associate with blacks at all in real life, won’t befriend them, won’t have anything to do with them.
That’s the gist of the story. You can edit it as you need to if you chose to use it. I just wanted to pass it on to you.
Thanks for your part in exposing this exploding epidemic that has only been getting worse as time goes on. Not sure of the solution, but am very aware of the problem.
